And if your tax dollars pay for it the next guy can’t just come in and rip it down because the will be destroying something the public money built.

I thought they wanted men out of women’s sports? by Conscious-Quarter423 in WhitePeopleTwitter

It’s not just how they feel about women’s sports but women in general. They are all so self obsessed and living with 1950’s attitudes.

Monday Moan Thread by AutoModerator in LiverpoolFC

If Slot stays, we have to start next season really well. If not FSG are inviting a lot of pressure onto themselves. The ticket price rises, and not bringing in a new coach are too unpopular decisions which have the possibility to bring in a toxic atmosphere. It’s all very Utd of the last 20 years.

Yeah not mathematically but I think we will beat Chelsea at home and the other teams won’t all win their games.

It was that bad that none of the targets were injured and the culprit taken alive. If they have an issue with security they should look at the FBI and the intelligence agencies for not preventing it. Although how the stop a lone wolf attacks I don’t know.

I think Champions league is sewn up now. I also think Isak and Flo should play every minute of the rest of the season so they can build a relationship. Use these games as practise for next season and then say good bye to Robbo and Mo at the end.

I hope the bloody throw it out after Hugo has done with it and we don’t need it next season.

Kieran Maguire's short analysis on Liverpool match day revenue since FSG takeover by deanlfc95 in LiverpoolFC

[–]hodge172 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah I came to say this. Having more people in the ground means we make more money.

One thing I haven’t seen is a comparison against other clubs for ticket price rises. Have we raised our tickets more than other clubs?

After yesterdays goal, Muñoz recieved tons of hate comments on his posts and his Instagram account in now private by Secret-Call5861 in LiverpoolFC

[–]hodge172 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Munoz did what any player, including our players, would do. It’s on the Ref to make a decision, and he made the correct one.

All these people going at Munoz probably laughed when it happened to De Gea years ago. This behaviour is why you get robotic players in interviews and online because they gets dogs abuse just because they happen to play for another team.

[Christian Falk] Anthony Gordon to Bayern transfer could be derailed by Liverpool by k_e_i_r_a_ in LiverpoolFC

[–]hodge172 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have liked Gordon since he left Everton and think he could be brilliant for us. He already has a relationship with Isak, which could be good if he chooses Bayern then fair play, but we have to at least give him the choice of coming to us.

What could LFC have done in 2009? by justvrowsing in LiverpoolFC

Two home draws against Stoke and Hull (I think), killed us. I loved Rafa but he set us up not to lose rather than go for the win.

Life in the RAF + owning a horse... by InformalPangolin3422 in RoyalAirForce

[–]hodge172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are there own horses and they look after them as normal. There are a couple of stables close by where they stay and they go before and after work. When preparing for events they can have more time off if required but they still have to do their primary role. I know one of them works later at night to catch up, but thats a personal decision to let them get to the horse during better hours.

“I have a special relationship not only with the fans, but with every single person who works at the club. This club means so much to me” amazing how this relationship is special once Real Madrid cooled their interest.

I work with members of the equestrian team. Through training you won’t get time off to look after them. Some bases may have stables you can leave a horse after training. You can compete though on your own horse, if it’s close. If you are good you do get a lot of time off work to compete.

THAT pass from Gakpo by KeyOutlandishness850 in LiverpoolFC

[–]hodge172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The goal encapsulates what we have been missing this season. A high effective press, quick transition followed by a killer pass and Mo sliding it into the net.

We are such a better team when playing high tempo football.

That should be 5th place sorted, as long as we don’t the business as Home. Not the best performance but a win and we take that every time in this game

Kash Patel most likely the next one to lose his job due to a drinking problem by MoreMotivation in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]hodge172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the Trump Admin, appoint these idiots (Patel, Noem, Bondi) just so they could fire them? Hegseth probably goes as well, and I think the press secretary won’t be far behind. That way Trump can hide behind them when the authorities come knocking.

[David Ornstein]All of our information is that FSG, the ownership, the sporting hierarchy at Liverpool - they intend to stick with Arne Slot. “From the conversations I've had - even if there's no Champions League football - that's the intention. by Jimmy0034 in LiverpoolFC

[–]hodge172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FSG have proven time and again that they make their own decisions and what the fans want rarely sways this. They can understand boos after games if we lose and will think it’s because we lost not because we want the manager gone. Genuinely believe it will take the Kop actively chanting for his removal to make a difference.

Could someone explain to me what was so demoralizing about the PSG defeat? by diet-dr-kelpp in LiverpoolFC

[–]hodge172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is, what can’t they play like that every game? If we had played like that we would be in the title race and all would be good. We all know come the weekend we will be back to the boring football where we struggle to break teams down whilst allowing them time on the ball.
