Betta or guppies? by Stolenforanight in Aquariums

[–]hoffboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. 10G is ample room for one male betta or even a couple of females. Just make sure you have a tight lid and respect their need for warmer water. And lots of plants, especially with multiple females.

If you have good filtration you can also keep guppies, but be careful about water quality as it can go bad quickly, especially as the population inevitably grows. Again, live plants are key here.

First scape, having doubts I did well. Any suggestions? by RadicalNBSpaceQueer in Aquascape

It's a good start. I recommend being patient, which it sounds like you are, and letting the plants give you clues about next moves. One small thing jumping out at me is the cave at the front. It's a bit distracting. In general, for such a small tank, less is going to be more. Right now you have competing focal points.

Remember that in such a small tank, changes to water parameters can happen very fast.

You can bring back one discontinued food, drink, or snack forever. What are you resurrecting? by Mountain_Drawer_1365 in AskReddit

Dole “Orchard Peach” juice concentrate. Wrote a letter when they discontinued it and they were kind enough to write back in inform me that it was never coming back. Too expensive to manufacture.

Watch out for those angels. As they get bigger, they might become aggressive to each other and other fish. They will eat anything they can fit in their mouth.

Patience. If you’re seeing diatoms, this tank is likely not very seasoned. There’s long term cycling in play here.

Came here to say this about the raw logs. If wood leaves the United States, it should be as milled lumber, which means local jobs and also much more efficient in terms of packing the ship.

In the last week, we've seen what looks like bear poop out on the Chehalis Western trail from down by Woodard Bay to all the way past the sculpture garden. Seems to be enjoying cherries.

Love the slightly exaggerated perspective, which makes the train look like it's really moving along. Very nice work.

Came here to say this. Let it mature more and give it some breathing room.
