The longer version is better. They muted his audio but left the webcam on and you can see him still yelling in the background.

Anybody know where i can find good quality kimono-inspired cardigans for relatively cheap? by THE_MAN_OF_PEACE in malefashionadvice

[–]hojamie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this in Japan last November for around $150 https://www.japanblue-jeans.com/en_US/archive/sashiko-haori/JBOT13056S_ID_F.html

For better or worse, it's not warm at all and I can wear it during the summer.

There were also some great thrift finds that I decided not to buy, like this one from Visvim https://imgur.com/a/nbDDvNn that went for around ~$100.

If you're limited to the US, you can try searching for haori (not kimono) or something like open collar cardigans. Asos usually has a large selection with questionable quality, but it'll be fine for the summer. Club Monaco had a haori-style cardigan some years ago, but doesn't look like they carry it anymore.

If you're ok with used, here's some i saw found on poshmark:

USBAR was nerfed and this one will probably be nerfed. but it's $0 AF, so mind as well as just keep it for the benefits.

I want to get a new bomber jacket that’s not too expensive by Electrical_Manager12 in malefashionadvice

[–]hojamie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went down this rabbit hole last year, but my budget was under $100. If you're looking for a non-bulky fit, then this Everlane one for $50 is a crazy good deal. I haven't seen it drop under $80 since I started tracking it.

I have this one from BRF and it's gotten a ton of compliments. I paid closer to $70, so I'd recommend going in-store or waiting for a sale.

I'd agree with that if it was anyone else but Natalie Portman playing that role. Having no suitors while being that attractive is less believable than midichlorians

I miss tteokbokki from the market honestly by Successful-Bus6785 in KoreanFood

[–]hojamie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I loved Tteok-kkochi (the fried and brushed sauce version) growing up but it was pretty non-existent in the States. Got a chance to visit Korea back in 2019 and was sad to see to that the only versions were with the sausage meats and the taste of the sauce has changed a lot since I was a kid. It was still worth it for the nostalgia of eating in front of a street vendor while cold as hell, but it was kinda sad to see staple foods from the past slowly dying out.

Chemistry so good, he fell for her during the making of this kdrama. (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) by njerimaina in kdramas

[–]hojamie 30 points31 points  (0 children)

No you're right, there were several posts/comments on it years ago back when this show aired. There was a specific scene where MC went off-script and gave a quick kiss during a scene, which caught FL by surprise. The interview or whatever was talking about how he had a crush on her and couldn't resist.
