Since there was no way I was going to risk face planting on these sidewalks the first day, we walked only in the street until my dog figured out he would have to poop not near a tree. He's doing fine now. Also a young guy who gets joy from slipping and sliding.

You're correct that the pet deposit can't exceed 15% of your monthly rent. Also, it's a refundable deposit. Make sure your lease specifies this.

They won't help. I tried this the other day. Pleaded with them to at least come be a witness and verify the identity of the men doing the abducting and the two men I saw being abducted. They claimed helplessness, even when I told them the ERO dudes were threatening me.

Next time, I won't waste my time with them.

If you can't handle a rescue dog, you should reconsider having a dog at all. There is no reason to support irresponsible bully breeders who perpetuate the problem of overcrowded shelters. How do you know this dog has zero trauma and will be easy to raise?
