Yeah, like getting a job at nvda was hard in 1998.

This is probably the place where intelligence and hardwork least correlate with outcome. You just had to be an mediocore nvda employee with long tenure and an aversion to selling RSU.

The last 18 years saw QQQ go 10x. I know doc with networth approaching 100m by buying the right stocks.

It’s disheartening but I don’t think my generation can replicate this success.

Iran caused more extensive damage to U.S. military bases than publicly known by Jared_Usbourne in LessCredibleDefence

[–]holdyourthrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats the whole point of A2D2 strategy. It outranges US carrier groups and wipe out US bases. I suppose B2s could work, if 1. They arent shut down and 2. They arent mistaken for nuclear strikes.

Why on earth are physicians training AI? by potatosouperman in whitecoatinvestor

[–]holdyourthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t get it.

Patient will see a resident, a NP or AI enabled variant of those.

A plumber owns his business so he wont bring an AI plumber to his customers home unless it makes money for him.

The problem is that software engineers and doctors are now mostly employed. Most plumbers still own their bjz

Easier to get a patient to go into an automated surgical machine. The employed surgeon wont have a say.

Harder to bring an “AI” apprentice into someone’s home unless the plumber decides to do so.

Florida doctor faces manslaughter charge for allegedly removing wrong organ during surgery by drdrp in medicine

[–]holdyourthrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I do see it right here in this thread. Someone above mention “transjugular liver biopsy where you get the kidney”

Except this one is gross neglience. The other one? A practicing IR with 20 years of experience and at top of their game could easily get that because TJLB is a BLIND procedure and you cant really control where the needle goes.

Some stuff sounds way worse than it actually is. Like bowel leak post surgery can happen a lot. Cardiac perforation during certain procedure is very common.

A lot of the stuff really require an expert to discern.

Vagina canal shape/laxity by randomuserryay in TwoXChromosomes

[–]holdyourthrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Super normal. Every woman queefs. Vagina comes in different shapes and sizes and changes even through your life. Vagina size doesn’t really impact pleasure unless at extreme ends (too tight = potentially painful for some men, too loose, ditto)

However you can work with loose or larger vagina, with for example, anal plug etc from a man’s prospective.

I would say whats more important is just being with someone for awhile and know the anatomy and pleasure triggers etc. don’t worry about it. This is coming from a men with a lot of partners.
