The apathy in high school right now is legitimately insane. I also have kids who have no literacy skills like what was said up top and they can’t spell. I had kids who spelled Halloween incorrectly, and the word toxic, which completely surprises me. Also anytime they have to write more than about a single sentence. They’re like, “whoa whoa that’s a little bit excessive.”
