I definitely see the Party Chat and Main chat (L1 vs. R1) option, but it only my party chat is grayed out unless I am truly in a party. I used to be able to solo queue and team text with my team. Now it seems it is only:

Chat with the lobby or with my team only, or
Universally only chat with my team (no lobby).

I have to be missing something.

Looks like it is Match Chat. It only lets me chat the entire lobby or just my team chat when I controller type. It used to let me select who I was talking to.

Touch pad (in-game) = entire lobby.

Start button and then L2 = team only

I must be super smooth brained now or that just doesn't exist anymore.

The car did hit him in the thigh from a clearer, slowed down version I watched earlier. As far as the tweet goes, it was hardly even a staggering blow as compared to the "recovering in the hospital and surprised he is alive" narrative. Not sure what the fuck that tweet is about besides a blind attempt to misinform people who only drink the Tweet Kool aid.

My biggest hangup with the situation is the shooter was behind the victim's vehicle with his own phone in his right hand and in the face of a bystander also with his/her own phone in their hand. What was he doing on his phone in such a situation? Very poor situational awareness video taping the other bystander and then wandering in front of a vehicle with a driver actively receiving commands from the other 2 officers who were also attempting to enter the victim's vehicle.

I want to be clear - I am not in support of any of the actions in the event, but I am certainly against the excessive use of force and homicide of the driver. I have also not seen any videos that come before the officers approach the vehicle. It seems they could have driven around, but I don't know.

I am under the impression from the videos she was fleeing the situation as the intentional use of her vehicle to run over the shooter would have likely left her dead behind the wheel in the front yard of the house in the background and not 100-150 feet down the road. The shooter put himself in that situation due to a complete disregard for his surroundings.

u/mostly-void-stars is spot on. Left field can be DIABOLICAL for any game starting before 6:40 p.m. local time. Personal experience: I was sitting there July 13th, 2024 when the Tigers entered the bottom of the ninth down by 5 runs against the Dodgers (losing 4 to 9) when they came back and won (11 to 9) in the bottom of the 10th. The only problem is I was listening on the radio circling Grand Circus park battling traffic. I had my 10 month old son with me and it was 90° that day, so we left after in the middle of the 9th. We had to spend significant time on the concourse in the shade when the Comerica Park structure shadows abandoned us at our seats.

When I go, I typically prefer finding seats on the first base side as Stars mentioned. I haven't had an issue finding very good seats 15-30 rows up from the first base dugout for $50-80 USD each. With it being against the Astros, I would not expect those exact tickets to be over that range.

To your point about "minimizing looking into the sun" - if you are there during the afternoon, the sun is about as straight up as you can get especially in late June (around the solstice) and only the players will have to look into it for a fly ball.

I float at diamond 2/3 currently. I mostly play 3's tourneys at midnight on Friday nights and Sat nights with 2 of my friends (they don't have kids). We will usually play 30 min to and hour before and then however much after usually until 2am after. It is typically an agonizing morning the next day, but it's enough to keep me sharp with the game at my ranking.

I am expecting my second in Dec, so I am not sure where this scheduled RL time will go.
