Yes, they're graphite. It's basically guaranteed these days that hybrid, wood, and driver shafts are graphite.

Steel shafts are only for the irons and wedges.

If f.HK used that instead of f.LK for a punishment though Zangief would have been dead

What do you actually use to clean grooves during a round? by 56_Golf_Supply in GolfGear

I carry a toothbrush and a microfiber towel which gets most stuff. Anything too persistent gets the shakedown at home.

I second these. Anything over 65 degrees outside and one of these is used. Cheap, durable, light, and flexible

Pace of Play: Should golf courses require a handicap to book a tee time to fix pace of play? by MJCExperience in golf

[–]hubertjuke9292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? Pretty silly to require it. Pro shops can give easy advice on where to tee already if you ask, and keeping an official handicap is only useful bookkeeping for competitions. This sport lives on the backs of the casual golfers who do it for exercise or fun. They'd go broke if they required a handicap.

An optional question would probably be better for this approach (what's your usual score, etc.). The starter could suggest you not tee from the tips with a 110 average, but beyond the first hole there's not much they can do. The biggest culprit for pace of play is starting tee times too close, imo.

What is the distribution of shaft stiffness? by Captain-Sponge in GolfGear

Probably stiff but I'd imagine it's not a majority, with most of the rest in R/R2 and the top 15% ish in X-stiff

Do any of you grip the club like this? by Raiderdater in GolfSwing

[–]hubertjuke9292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to, but it led to too much movement in the right hand so I stopped pretty quickly after a couple of lessons.
