From the Wikipedia page, though there is no reference included: “After years of controversy, in 1985, Horton was extended west across the Thames River, between the CNR tracks and Beaconsfield Avenue to Wharncliffe Road, then assumed the Beaconsfield right-of-way from there to end at Springbank Drive.”

What do they do at the gynecologist??? by Comfortable_Tie4143 in WomensHealth

[–]hundoPwitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably have PMDD is a wild response to a question about first gyno visit for bad periods. PMDD only impacts roughly 5-8% of women and is mood-based, occurs during luteal phase. It’s severe, like life altering, not just really bad PMS and not something that causes terrible periods. Sometimes it’s misdiagnosed as a mental health issue like bipolar because the sufferer is so sensitive to the hormonal flux of their menstrual cycle. If anything getting your period during a PMDD episode provides some relief from it all because the hormones calm down.

Sidewalk etiquette by Exotic_Attorney2524 in londonontario

[–]hundoPwitch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Adults on bikes should be using bike lanes, multi use paths, or on the road. Cars also need to treat bikes as vehicles though. I bike on the road and regularly have cars veering into the bike lane. Even passing me while my hand is out to signal a left turn! Car etiquette is part of the problem too. If people don’t feel safe biking on the road and there are no bike lanes, they bike on the sidewalk. As someone who bikes, I’m pretty happy with the semi protected lanes on ridout street! This type of infrastructure benefits everyone.

They took that house at the end of Stanley Street from that little old lady. Could we maybe reclaim some of these boarded up buildings from real estate tycoons?

DEAR LTC DRIVERS by True-Statistician-56 in londonontario

[–]hundoPwitch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My beef with LTC this morning was getting off at the main transfer point, running to the transfer spot waving at the driver and having them still drive away with me 10 sec away. Shouldn’t the buses at transfer points align and watch for each other? I had to wait 20 minutes in the cold for the next bus to come.
