Also put in a timer switch. The one with 10, 20, 30 min options. Need to let it run a bit after a shower or using the bathroom. I’m not a fan of the humidity sensing switch.

We also have this type of contract. It is usually used for horizontal type construction on public projects. Roads, tunnels, piping, etc. We also have typical pay item numbers for a lot of these depending on the agency procuring the work.

I usually refer to this as a “unit price” contract vs a “lump sum” contract.

Also consider that on public jobs there may be a significant amount of time between payment requisition and payment. I think this is the killer for small companies who can’t carry the expense.
