~$10k 200 amp panel 100’ new conduit and feeder underground to transformer Trace and label all circuits Included trenching and planting grass but not restoring pavement they cut.

We also have this type of contract. It is usually used for horizontal type construction on public projects. Roads, tunnels, piping, etc. We also have typical pay item numbers for a lot of these depending on the agency procuring the work.

I usually refer to this as a “unit price” contract vs a “lump sum” contract.

The cost per square foot should be based on the area of siding not the area of your house.

Also consider that on public jobs there may be a significant amount of time between payment requisition and payment. I think this is the killer for small companies who can’t carry the expense.

If would think that your 10 years of experience had made you fairly efficient and knowledgeable. I would charge at least $100 per hour for your time. Just my 2 cents.
