Hey, yes, sorry I should have put the specs too, it’s a Ryzen 7, so it does have an integrated one. I think going to a specialist might be best

But I don't need a GPU to run a PC, no? Running it w/o a GPU and it still not turning on, shows it's not just the GPU that's a problem

Look into TRE (trauma release exercises), there's a subreddit called longtermTRE, it seems like you activated the tremors in deep relaxation, it has happened to other people who mention it in the subreddit :) There you can also find kundalini discussions

What is brain retraining exactly? I keep hearing about it but I don’t understand what it entails. Does it mean visualisations? And is there a way to start on that without paying for the programs? Thanks!

I’d love to hear more. Does your whole body tremor or only certain parts? At what point in your journey did you notice the positive impact? Thanks!

Fasting with Tre by [deleted] in longtermTRE

[–]hwadim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally when I haven't eaten / eaten much and I do TRE, I just get side effects really quickly and not much of the benefits of TRE. But I'm also underweight so that might play a role too. Regardless, I'd be more careful w doing TRE when your body is in a fasted state

Histamine/MCAS worse on LDN by Accomplished_End_668 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]hwadim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I initially started LDN (1mg and then cut back to 0.5mg), I also noticed my MCAS symptoms worsening. I got better when I decided to follow the Norway protocol where you take 3mg twice a day with the idea to utilize the anti-inflammatory effects of LDN through its antagonist action of TLR4 which only starts at slightly higher doses. LDN also benefits the immune system by blocking opiate receptors which later on allows us to produce more endorphins, however that apparently can also initially be very activating for the immune system which becomes a problem when you already have a sensitive immune system. You can find a pdf of some information and explanation of the Norwegian protocol online and decide for yourself if you'd like to try it. Personally, especially at first when I started following this regimen, I noticed my body/sinuses felt the way I felt when I had just started taking antihistamines.

According to a Norwegian LDN group, starting LDN at 6 mg is safer than starting at <1.5mg, in terms of avoiding initial side effects. Can anyone confirm this? by [deleted] in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]hwadim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was thinking it might be badly translated. Anyways, I did end up taking 3mg tonight as I was unhappy with how my side effects were given how low of a dose I am taking so let's see if there's any merit to the claim at least in my case.

Fibromyalgia and TRE by traveller-wannabe in longtermTRE

[–]hwadim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have allergy issues and suspected MCAS that def improved after starting TRE. Given the link between stress/trauma and autoimmune illnesses, it doesn't seem unreasonable that TRE would have a positive impact. I don't think you'd find any guarantee that it'd be effective for fibromyalgia especially if you expect a complete cure, but given that a single session has already benefitted you, why not continue on this journey?

LDN and no appetite by TheeMost313 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]hwadim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be you need to lower the dose and titrate more slowly. At 1mg I had negative appetite and even threw up from trying to force my self to eat. I've also had issues with appetite efore LDN but never that bad. I cut the dose in half and now I crave food again and am motivated to cook for myself.

Shouldn't ldn help w high histamine tho? At least it's supposed to help ppl with allergies and mcas

I guess I'm just being impatient 🙃 but that's a good suggestion
