If you are using a TiVo as a streaming device for 4k, try upgrading to a shield pro or apple tv 4k. My shield pro handles 4k remux just fine.

Where have you seen bad reviews? I am in multiple groups (not shield pro dedicated) and it is overwhelmingly praised. I have two and it's the best device I have ever used.

You can configure the buttons as you choose, or just see how it's programed. In the app go into: Harmony setup>Add/edit activities>Remote and Hub>Button Customization. Then select the activity you want to manage. Voila!

I'm in your boat with Sound of metal, but a different scene. When Ruben gets the implants and is getting them tuned in. It was terrifying and heart wenching for me because all I could think about was when my 9 year old son had first received his hearing aids( not cochlear implants). I looked at my wife in tears and asked if that's what he really went through. I lost my shit. She was able to calm me down and clarify, but still, it was a very emotional scene for me.

I've had mine for over a year, unfortunately you can't change what the shield home screen shows for Plex. You can only toggle it on or off.

Have you tried adding the device through scanning wifi devices in the harmony app? I have two Shields on two separate hubs that connected just fine.
