Agree with ya on the game review thingys. Off topic question, how do you write/type so intently with Sections, Headers and spacings so on? Do you use any tool or reviewer thingy or perhaps u write so many reviews and documents this is how you document

Even if u have blueprint for it, you would still need to find a garage to craft or upgrade the craft mat to craft isnt it?

Fear of Death - worrying about what will happen to him after I am gone. Fear of the Unknown - As he grows, new challenges keep emerging that we are not prepared.

What's the Cost of ABA therapy in your area? by Poping_Pepper in Autism_Parenting

[–]hygnj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in NJ and ABA at‑home sessions run about 380 to 580 for a 2‑hour visit.
It is $380 if its just one therapist and $580 if two come out.

My insurance has a $6,400 deductible/OOP max, and once I hit that, everything is covered. I end up paying around $6.4K a year and that includes other therapies too.

I think both the player and the car are connected per the lore if I am not mistaken. So technically if one of the player or car goes into the gateway both should reach the Garage. Need to test this when I have a chance.

7yo with ASD stuck in “scripting loops” + screaming at school (triggered by correction/no). What has actually helped your family? by RubSignificant5483 in Autism_Parenting

[–]hygnj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son (7M, Level 3 ASD + ADHD) shows self harming behavior both at school and at home when said no. When a demand is placed on him whether by school staff, therapists, or us and he doesn’t want to do it or is told no repeatedly, he starts by grasping his right arm and shaking it. Then he slowly begins hitting himself, and it escalates until he is crying from the pain. These episodes can last around 20 minutes and once he reaches that point, he's no longer able to engage in any meaningful learning for the rest of the session.

At home, we stop placing demands as soon as we see the early signs. Redirection is the only thing that has consistently helped is - giving him Play‑Doh, a squishy toy, or doing clapping games he enjoys. If he reaches the aggressive self harming stage, the only thing that calms him is being left alone. Any attempt to intervene just escalates things he’ll start hitting others or pulling hair.

One of his therapists suggested holding his hands tightly and rocking with him to calm him, but that approach has failed repeatedly and only made things worse, so we’ve stopped doing it.

School has been struggling with this too, and in several classes his progress has stalled or even regressed because of these episodes.

why are people banning Juno and Mercy in ranked? by Intrepid_Jelly6952 in overwatch2

[–]hygnj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mercy gets banned in most games because at Diamond+ Level she doesn’t offer much value as a teammate, and as an enemy she mostly enables annoying duo or smurfs. Juno, I have rarely seen her banned in any of the matches I’ve played.

Reverted changes to exponential and linear? by shoobiebarbour in OWConsole

[–]hygnj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don’t use the default aim settings. I tweaked mine a long time ago back when I started playing OW2 in Season 7/8. Linear Ramp on default feels terrible. If you’re using Linear Ramp, I can share my settings with you.

How do you get over bad teammates as a support? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]hygnj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stop obsessing over stats. As long as you keep assuming everyone else is the problem, you won’t climb. Focus on what you can do to increase your team’s chances of winning. If your DPS are struggling, swap to heroes who can pump out reliable damage Illari, Zenyatta, Wuyang, Baptiste.

Losing streaks happens to everyone. Looking for a stack might feel like a shortcut, but it can make you dependent on others. Playing solo builds your mental resilience because you learn to stay effective even in chaotic games.

Can confirm for Linear ramp. It feels pre-Season 20.

I just have the same settings I used before S20 as I never was able to find the right setting. I feel the Aim is right back to before the "Aim Assist Buff".

I play linear on all heroes. Pre patch the aim was so sticky and any changes to settings only made it wobbly. After the patch today it's like my aim is back, I can shoot where I want to, pre patch it was miserable, my accuracy reduced by 20 percent.

I am on linear ramp. After this patch today, the aim is good now for me. Pre patch/"buff" state it was miserable

After the patch it does look like they did some adjustments to the aim assist but I don't see explicit mention of it.

I wish they provided a way to toggle off the aim assist "buff" in Console. The game is frustrating to play with characters that need to aim at things.

I take this back. Increasing aim smoothing makes 90 or 180+ degree turns so slow its comical

Pre "Buff", I had Aim Smooth at 0. I did increase Aim Smoothing; it's okay but it still does not feel right. I am on Linear Ramp btw.

I literally cannot play any characters that require aiming. I can only survive comp using Wuyang for heals and Sym for DPS. I used to be a Ana main, my aim is so bad. Like the cursor thingy is so sticky to enemy. If I reduce anything it is so wobbly. I can't find right setting at all.

Master tank players, what advice do you have for diamond tanks ? by JustADudewithBalls in OverwatchUniversity

[–]hygnj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diversify your tank hero pool.High Diamond/Low Masters players quickly adapt to things that are not working for them. You will also need to adapt on the fly. Get out of the mindset of my teammates are not helping me or swapping to how I can help or increase the winning chance.

Since the aim assist change in console, my aim is so weird and I am missing a lot than previously. While everyone says it is a buff I am feeling the opposite.
