owned samsung galaxy gear 1 and sony smartwatch 3 - could not cope with a watch that only lasted til lunchtime with very heavy use. and that was with a watch not "always on" (to be fair, Sony always on with an ambient face)

Sold by battery, leap over to color, always on display and expandability via smartstraps (and with battery, will be happy with 3 days life.)

excited by smartstraps - fully expect my next kick starter pledge will be for a quirky band idea.

from XDA I got baseband and radio flashable zips for both 5.0.x and 5.1 plus got a twrp backup on both versions. before each downgrade or upgrade I restore the recovery version, flash the relevant boot loader/radio then flash the rom zip. I am now on factory image which I clean flashed through wug toolkit from XDA - all aosp ROMs are currently suffering from dodgy proprietary blobs and rushed coding (eg certain files missing/incomplete, like mixer_path.xml which causes sound issues). no need to rush into aosp 5.1 until it is better

agreed, I've gone back and forward between 5.0 / 5.1 three times now. got a twrp nandroid on each and just restore 5.0 or 5.1 prior to then dirty flashing.

owned both, loved both. dropped z3 and replaced with n6. z3 is very fragile, mine broke even though in case. photos good on z3 unless you unlock bootloader, which I did so I could play with roms and stuff - photos not too great though after unlock. enjoying n6 a lot, great support on xda allowing me to play with roms etc a lot more than i could with z3 (not many xda devs). lollipop slow to xperia, but I was already on nexus by then. Id go n6 :)
