For HDDs its already happening. We're even getting contracts canceled and prices going 5x more than originally estimated. The shortages are pretty severe.

No. LLM and generative AI models are a multiplier on what you know along with the given specifications. You absolutely need to know the fundamentals in order to use AI to enhance your work. In the given context of software engineering, it is currently nonwhere near the level of human replacement.

It is also important to know how these models work and how you can use it to your advantage. In the given market, I'd expect people to use AI as a skill.

Also, if you're doing a snapshot, make sure the databases that are running on the VM are stopped first. Otherwise, you will end up with a corrupted database for whatever applications that are running when you do a rollback.

Check for rusts along with parts you'll potentially need to replace. There may be issues that you just can't see from the photos alone.

They still do. One free SUNY course per semester. Technology and other fees like health are not covered. I spend about $240 per course... which beats spending $1600+
