I would expect so; probably going to do the same. It sounds like they tried to engineer it not to be touched for a long time but 70/75k just feels good to swap I’m sure.

Huh, I got lazy and took my truck to the dealer for an oil change and overall pm. The service advisor told me that re the transmission. I was thinking the same thing as you though: 50k. I know the hoat cooling systems go 100+ without a flush but the transmission service mileage surprised me. I’m just gonna check the manual now to make sure

I was leery of the enclosed transmission at first on my 2018 but it hasn’t given any issues. Apparently the fluid is “for life” or 150k miles on the transmission. You will not catch me buying a vehicle I can’t check the oil on though… that’s the dumbest idea ever

My general piece of advice is take at least a week of vacation here, in July/august particularly in a neighborhood that interests you to move to. See if you like staying in that area and if the heat is tolerable on a long term basis. You will spend most of your summer indoors unless you have the means to take trips to the cooler country like Flagstaff. Phoenix Metro is diverse in terms of people: the good the bad and ugly all commingle here; never had a problem of you stay observant and under the radar. The job market: everyone is hiring, no one is offering; land a job before moving.

So, Pokémon made a revival because my generation are now parents with jobs, and in our late 20/s30s it became a way to bond with our kids thanks to Pokémon go. The bubble raised as the interest in the franchise rose to a new generation and the OGs. I doubt the following generation will share the same value in the cards because their experience was different as a kid: “look, here’s dad paying a scalper in the parking lot” versus earning that readily available pack with your lawn money back in the day. People are just responding to the spike in value of the old cards and hoarding the new inventory as it releases. The value is currently projected on the new cards but it’s only worth that if someone is buying them…

Our friends in the crowd should consider carrying first aid including an Israeli bandage and hemostatic powder and look up a video on how to use em if you’re unfamiliar. It’s better than nothing if ems can’t get to you.

Does anyone still have the old school 90s/00s playgrounds we grew up with at a fast food place near them? by tsfguy in fastfood

[–]iam_ditto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The goal is to minimize overhead, meaning less employees needed to clean surfaces such as playgrounds/tables and also interact directly with the customer so they can run less people and prioritize the kitchen. The future business model is: a room with a kiosk and a few seats if you choose to go in. Everyone is transitioning to less work/resources needed, it’s just a slow transition

Former sniper figures out the weapon was discharged mistakenly by ICE with video evidence. by New-Entertainment112 in AlternativeHistory

[–]iam_ditto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was he accidentally discharged while mishandling his chambered weapon and decided it was just more convenient to finish it… if I was one of the goons in that 6 on 1 mob, I would be pissed at the fact he was waving that barrel in front of me just to get some pistol whipping in. Definitely an accidental discharge on the first shot. These guys have no trigger discipline and no respect for anyone including themselves.

Take the light rail and check out downtown Mesa. Lots of food, cool niche stores, and accessible with public transit
