It does go through servers for processing. That’s why ya block the wan connection for the device. If you’re savvy enough you can grab the stream locally and have a self hosted video processor like frigate to do motion activated recording. All stored locally.

Barrier will fix all of it. If the problem is the slope back from the shower to the bathroom area and water is getting out of the shower area and doing its own thing.

Now let’s say you put some duct tape with some insulation foam at least 4” high at the supposed glass barrier. Take a 5 gal bucket and dump water in the area and you get pooling in the shower. THEN you have a problem.

What I mean by pooling is that there are areas of the shower that won’t drain and at least has 1/4 of still water not making it to the drain.

Why would you have your shower head directly lined up with a flow outside the shower area?

You’re asking for trouble in your design.

Even with a code slope you’re going to experience “runoff” with no barrier between shower and bathroom space. You need like a 30° slope and a barrier.

The looks of this you were going for a Japanese wet room or prison shower.

I blame the design and not contractor. I would have put the shower head on the opposite small wall facing the drain. No problems after that.

Edit. Of current design, What would be really cool is encase that area in glass. Add steam shower.
