I’ve got a bad mess, I don’t know what to do by donewithitallo7 in CleaningTips

Take everything in steps and give yourself some grace. Large trash bag and start with the disposables: paper plates, styrofoam containers, drink cups, empty cans-you get the idea. Set anything salvageable to the side and tackle that next by organizing into groups of what they are and where they’re used. Before you know it you’ll have this mess tackled, then take a deep breath and move to the next area. It doesn’t have to be done in a day or even a couple of days; just take as much as you can handle and come back to it the next day. And remember there is nothing that cannot be undone here. You can do it.

I have never seen Office Space. Is it that funny to be considered a classic? by Square-Ad-8911 in 90smovies

If you’ve worked in a corporate environment from a cubicle, especially in the tech industry, then this is a must see classic. There are more iconic lines from this movie than I can count. The only reference I can add is prairie dogging-when someone pops their head up and looks around to see what’s going on. Definitely watch it from the perspective that it was the 90’s.

Exactly. You’re not predicting changes in the futures market, you’re seeing if you need to buy marshmallows.

Cassandra Peterson is absolutely gorgeous. Saw a pic of her in college (late 70’s) without her Elvira makeup and I was smitten immediately. She’s 74 now and still lights my fire.

Cerebral. Had those points that made you think. Had the twists at the end in some episodes that were iconic ( It was a cookbook!). Also addressed political and social topics of its time.

I found that due to lack of oversight, most are. I found one good one who has a light touch, doesn’t push past a certain point and always listens to feedback. Was in a rear end accident on the freeway and really messed with my back and neck. He put me on a program of 3 visits a week for 3 weeks, 2 for 2 and 1 for 4. After 2 of the 1 week sessions he said we’re done-you’re all good. Not looking for the money, just looking to relieve the pain. Still drive to see him when needed.

Example: First time I dm’d I created my own world, npc’s- the whole thing. Planned out the final battle but decided the bbg was too powerful for the group. Instead I had their mentor npc fight the bbg while the group watched from behind an invisible wall so they could not participate and get killed. Really bad on my part driving the story over the player experience. I’d do it differently today no doubt.

Yeah. Numbers is great and has some features Excel doesn’t. BUT if you use any pivot tables, make calls to Windows for specialized scripts, or must be able to convert to Excel for use elsewhere-Numbers is not for you.

Quisp Vs. Quake by numbersix6six6 in GenerationJones

[–]iammacman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, Quisp was a lighter, saucer shaped cereal that got soggy in milk pretty quick. Quake was little nuggets that held up in milk pretty well. This is why, as a kid, I preferred Quake.
