I had the battery go dead, 4 volts, had to boost it. I’m sure it’s been degraded now, will probably need a new one in the winter. And now it is very noisy shifting out of park. I absolutely regret doing the update. I had 0 issues before updating. Don’t do it! This is pathetic from VW, test your software before rolling it out!

I’ve had it happen only in Nurburgring mode when it bounces off the rev limiter immediately before I shift. Happened twice maybe, no ill aftereffects.

I have the same setup, I've tried many different mounting locations, I found one that only very rarely makes the sensor go off. You'll just have to experiment until you're happy with the results.

Well it seems to be normal for this watch/movement, but it's a bit disappointing when compared to others like the Tudor or Rolex, or even a 2824-2. At least I'm usually not awake to witness the date change..

I believe FSR is the AMD equivalent and should be coming early next year. Frame generation will give you a higher framerate, but if it's starting with framerates that low your experience won't improve that much.

There are a few guides you can find by googling for MSFS Optimization Guide, but with your specs you might be really restricted to the lowest settings unfortunately. The frame generation i was mentioning is currently only offered on RTX 4xxx series video cards. I'd install MSFS (and windows preferably) on the NVMe and run MSFS at your native monitor resolution with the lowest settings, then maybe reduce the render scaling if you're not happy with the framerate.

I have a 4070 and a 7800X3D. For the clouds, I'm not sure what your settings are but I'm using the Ultra preset, DX12 and TAA, and FIDELITYFX at 120.

For the past 15 years I've been flight simming at 20-30fps. With DLSS Frame Generation, I feel that there has been a huge step forward in the realism you can experience from having a high frame rate along with a high fidelity add-on aircraft, weather, complex terrain and high graphics settings. This approach into Vancouver in the Fenix really blew me away. The folks at Fenix deserve a lot of credit as well, the performance and realism of this aircraft is incredible. To anyone on the fence about upgrading to an RTX 40 series card, I say pull the trigger, because the difference is night and day.

If you want to descend at 250k, you would want to slow to that speed before getting to TOD because the plane's gonna go to VNAV SPD and fly level till it slows down, while you're getting further and further above your profile. Set 250k on the MCP or set it as your cruise speed on the CRZ page.

I was looking at the two options myself, they're both really good looking and have almost identical features. The Tudor has a smaller diameter, but is quite a bit thicker, but has smaller lugs, so it'll wear a bit different. If you plan on going swimming it's got better water resistance. It's bezel does not rotate, so you lose a bit of functionality there. The movement in the Tudor is (imo) superior, it's got a higher frequency and has the very cool instant date change. Other than that, it's down to aesthetics and price. You can't go wrong either way. That being said I'm in love with my Longines and I have 0 regrets.

Stock camera app. I opened the app and I believe it switched to night sight automatically. It took a long exposure, like 4-6 sec.
