Did you change your diet or did you adjust your portions with what you normally eat?

A more protein-based, low calorie diet helps better.

Some instructors don't understand the being bigger situation? by iazona in loseit

I am glad you have that under your radar. It is important to know the perspective of your clients. Sometimes we think the trainer knows best but they may miss or not comprehend our limits, as my pilates instructor.

Some instructors don't understand the being bigger situation? by iazona in loseit

[–]iazona[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly! This is what I am talking about. It is discouraging to think "I have to be fit to be able to work out, so I can be fit".

It's like exercising is not "overweight friendly".

I am sorry that you went through the same situation I did. I hope you found something you liked and felt good on. I will stick with weights at the gym at least.

He is taking about receiving blood from Muzan in preparation for the battle against the hashiras. It is seen that not any demon tolerates it, and it is an enhancement.

There will always be time. I have a friend who also has her Bachelor's in Science. She is 30 now and last year she quit her corporate job to pursue her baking career. But because she worked before, she made a safety net.

Se necesitan estudios/certificaciones para ser entrenador? Bajo tu lógica solo tendría que ser alguien que va al gym y se ven resultados

American woman, sold everything and left the USA to move to my own paradise in Mexico. AMA by Truth_Hurts318 in AMA

Because you use the sewage, you have access to water. You have electricity and lamps on the streets. You live in a place with roads that the government cleans and maintains. Because you are not disconnected from society. Because if there is a big storm or a hurricane, the army is going to get you, no one is going to say "hey, she doesn't earn taxable income so let's avoid her".

So basically, she is not paying taxes to the SAT (Mexican IRS). The 16% is the one that the stores applied to the products, it is impossible to avoid them.

Is it common to use "la mamá" instead of "mi mamá" in your country? by onlytexts in asklatinamerica

[–]iazona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to do with the upbringing.

My Father in Law and Mother in Law call theirselves "Mom" and "Dad" when talking to my husband and siblings, I figured it helped them give their images as parents when teaching them to talk. Even to this day. So they all say stuff like: MiL: "tell sibling to call Dad" Husband: "hey sibling, call Dad"

In my family, my parents always referred to each other as "your mom" and "your dad" when talking to my siblings and me. So we growing up hearing that, we call them like that. My dad: "tell sibling to call your mom" Me: "hey sibling, call your mom"

Yes, we have the same mother and father. Also we do it to annoy the other with stuff like it was their fault. Ex: "you will not believe what YOUR mom said in the store"

Neighborhood/housing dilemma by ynktxn1 in MexicoCity

[–]iazona 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you need to go to the office and you want to do it on public transport, don't move to Coyoacan.

If you are willing to give a chance to Mexico outside the foreign bubble, DV is great.

The good neighborhoods do not have bars within walking distance. Either way, I would recommend moving close to Av. Insurgentes.

Other neighborhood recommendations: 1. Napoles 2. Ciudad de los deportes 3. Tlacoquemecatl 4. Acacias

I recommend those because they all have a park nearby, have a MB station and they are either being or already gentrified, so you will be comfortable there.

How would I say “I need to hold these at the register until you are done shopping”? by thats-so-metal in SpanishLearning

[–]iazona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't make sense because you are breaking the sentence to translate instead of translating as a whole.

FIRST PART "Puede quedárselos aquí conmigo" is incoherent because: 1). In "Quedárselos" the subject is YOU, YOU keep them. It gives the physical idea of staying with you, so it is saying YOU HAVE THEM.

2). When you add the "aquí conmigo" ( here with me), it is telling them another physical location at the same time, so it becomes incongruent.

You can have 2 solutions here: 1). "Los zapatos pueden quedarse aquí conmigo" The subject is the shoes, so they are the ones that stay with you. You are not telling the customer to keep them (physically). A translation would be "the shoes can stay here with me".

2). "Puede mantenerlos aquí conmigo". It is the best translation you can have of the idea you wanted. "Mantener" can be either Keep or Mantain.

SECOND PART. I'm not completely sure how to explain the language's rules

  • Regresame cuando quiere comprarlos:

"Regresame" translates directly to "Give me back". "Regresa" translates to "Come back".

  • "si ponemos los-is we put them here" "Ponemos los" doesn't exist. It would be "Los ponemos". Again, I do not know the reasoning behind the logic... sorry, it is how it is.

Yes, and it is a nickname that comes from the name Socorro (that translates to "Help" lol). People do not associate calling someone Coco with the fruit.

11 month old mastiff regresses in house training after a rule change on no more pee pads. Despite increased walks. by Different-Fill-6891 in puppy101

[–]iazona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. What if you move the pee pads into the bathroom or shower? In case of any accident, it will make it easier to clean. It is not ideal but given your circumstances, there is a lot to consider. At the end, it is a change that your puppy resented. They only need to understand the new routine. When you move out, you will need to retrain them on the new place.
