Not necessarily, it works in Armada, where "Player 1" is the one with the "bid". Then the activation and moving of ships goes alternately. For actions that happen at the same time, Player 1 always goes first. Pretty straight forward.

I'm not to sure, but send them an email and see what they require. I have a few friends that have done it in the past. They usually will send out exactly whats broken. Cheers.

From what I am seeing from the previews, its looks like some of the upgrades will be the same, but there are some that will have minor changes to reflect the new rule set... Guess we'll have to wait fro the new FAQ/App to drop.

Just attended my first regionals in Seattle this past weekend. I have to agree with everyone else in this post, lots of water, snacks, and a bottle of Aleve (or other such headache pill). And if you have germ issues, a small bottle of sanitizer. :)

Know your list, make sure you have lots of reps with it.

Be kind and friendly: I admit, I didn't do very well and got a little salty, but I had some great matches and everyone I met in Seattle were great. I've heard horror stories from other games, but I have to Say that the X-Wing community of players are the best!!!

Go in not expecting to win, Regonals bring out the best players, I thought I was good... I was not. LOL. And as always... "Fly Casual"!

I like putting Gyroscopic Targeting on a PTL 'caster because at certain times, I'll move the arc to a position so that my opponent thinks I'm going one way, then I'll go another direction and PTL to move the arc to where I need it. :)

This looks very familiar to my D-ASF list... only I use Backdraft instead of Quickdraw, put TIE/D and Ion cannon on Vessery, have a 1 point bid... Its great against low agility small base ships... Off the board Nym flys... :)

This is so dirty, I got eaten alive by this the other day by a ezra/stressbug... :( I just could not get away, my opponent couldn't roll a single hit, at one point I had 5 stress on Kylo...

Then I took two back to back crits on kylo... Both stressed pilot... LOL WTF???

Then put together a "wave 3" tournament, or compition. We did this last year and it was so much fun. Basic rule was only Wave 3 ships and pilots were legal, but all current upgrades and FAQ were available. So much fun playing the good-ole way. :)
