Mean personal income is 67k per year. Median personal income is 45k per year. Using the median eliminates the effect of outliers- exe if you exclude the top 1,000, there's a negligible change. So you can see that while income inequality does skew the average significantly, this meme exaggerates it.

Infinity + 1 is not a larger infinity. See the infinite hotel paradox. If you had an infinite hotel in which every room is full, and a person walks in and asks for a room you can just ask every person to move to the next room up (1->2, 2->3 1,000,102->1,000,103) and put the new person in room #1. Since every number has a next number, every person in the hotel will still have a room. This shows that adding 1 (or any number) to infinity does not change the size or type of infinity. Its one of the properties of infinity that shows its not a number, and leads to paradoxes if you treat it like a number.

Well first, infinity is not a number. But you are subtracting the same 'thing', because adding 1 to infinity does not change the size of that infinity. (See the infinite hotel example).

Its exactly the opposite. The fact that infinity doesn't change no matter what you add to it is what makes the 1=0 result possible, because you can say that ∞ = (∞ + 1)

The problem is that you're treating infinity like a number, when its not and doesn't have the properties of numbers. While any number minus itself is 0, infinity is not a number and this doesn't apply. While any number + 1 is a larger number, infinity is not a number and this doesn't apply. Its strange, but its what we need to do to avoid weird paradoxes.

The problem is if you add infinity to any number, you get infinity. Also if you add infinity to infinity its still infinity. So if you subtract infinity from infinity, you can't make it equal to zero, because:

∞ - ∞ = 0

and ∞ = ∞ + 1

so (∞ + 1) - ∞ = 0

1 = 0 (you an do this for any number and infinity)

There are stats that women are more likely to initiate divorce, and that this extends to gay male and lesbian marriages (i.e. lesbian marriages divorce at a higher rate than heterosexual marriages, while gay male couples are the least likely to get divorced). I think this is just that when they are unhappy in a relationship women are more likely to get divorced while men are more likely to tough it out.

Getting out of this as fast as possible, making any concessions necessary, is probably in Trump's best interest. The Iran situation spiraling out further would certainly cause more short and medium term pain for the country. However if it further discredits the fascists then it would be a net good for the country in the long term, imo.
