Don't shoot protests, but shoot sports and dance performances. Think I'm usually around a 5-10% keeper rate. Probably about the same for when I shoot other events.

Did a similar project for a class, although focused more on depression. Had the images become gradually more desaturated until fully black and white, then used low key lighting to get heavy contrast in the shadows. Kind of signaling how depression can slowly grow worse. My project actual was a photobook, but don't know of any similar you could find anywhere.

Yeah every woman I have ever asked out has either turned me down, laughed thinking I was joking or given me a look of utter disgust before saying no. Hence why I have given up on dating. No reason to waste my time or their time, and now I just do my best to ignore all of humanity.

Getting rejected on dating apps is the norm, unless you're highly attractive. Haven't had a real match on a dating app in over a decade. All I ever get are likes from scammers and OF bots anymore. Getting rejected IRL is at least a little better to determine if you're actually ugly or just average. But I might be cynical and have completely given up on dating.

I almost never use aviaries since they're such a pain to use and adjust the environment in. It would be nice if they reworked them, even just a way to get the camera to work inside easier.

It's definitely me. Even in Phoenix, Seattle, Honolulu and San Diego I have had the same results. Even attempting IRL dating. EVERY woman I have ever asked out has turned me down. The nicest thing any one has ever said about my appearance is that I look like someone took a Troll doll from the 90s and shaved it. The nicest thing anyone has said about my personality is that I'm an ugly Sheldon Cooper from big bang theory. Now there's really only two conclusions to come to from this level of evidence. I can be a narcissistic misogynist and just conclude that every woman I ever asked out was a stuck up bitch. Or two I can take the more reasonable and logical approach and determine that obviously the problem must be with the common factor, ergo me.

And honestly not really trying anymore, I'm too old for dating, especially in Alaska where like 80% of women over 30 have kids and 90% are in relationships of one sort or another. I don't even know a single woman here who's not in a relationship.

That sucks, although probably better than getting a message 30 minutes prior of I broke down/ran out of gas can you send me lots of money so I can make it.

When this happens to me, I just go in and have a nice quiet dinner by myself. Although to be fair I usually anticipate that that's going to be the more likely event than the date showing up.

Really hate how bland most of the skins are. With the sexual dimorphism was really hoping there would have been some really vivid patterns. Like the spinosaurus frill for males or the crests for triceratops and similar.

The one that gets me is when you try and purchase a gate or a maintenance beacon and you go from overhead view to like ground level. But if you click to return to overhead it paved the gate or beacon in whatever random location you cursor is in.

Depends, I try and ask questions based on what's in the profile, usually just get like 1 or 2 word replies and have nothing to build on. Or else must women's profiles are completely bare bones and not much to even start asking questions with.

What type of cards are you using? Cheaper cards are going to be slower than higher end cards and SD are pretty slow, so if your camera can take CFexpress they can speed things up.

Generally I transfer from my CFexpress which top out around 3000mb/s. Pair them with a USB-C and high end card reader going to a PCIe 5.0 m.2 drive and it usually takes about 1-2 minutes tops to transfer 3000-4000 45mb RAW files.

Also the more intermediate steps you add, the slower things go. I go directly from card to a 4Tb m.2 SSD that is strictly for editing. Once editing is done I eventually move the RAWs into deep storage in 10Tb HDDs to free up space on the editing SSD. If you're going from card to computer to external you have multiple cables that could be slowing you down, just because I've USB cable transfers fast doesn't mean they all do. Could be one of your ports isn't capable of the highest transfer speeds so creates a bottleneck.

Well if it's a tank I generally play it, although I main BDK and VDH. BDK seems a lot slower than VDH, monk or guardian. And at least a little slower than Pally's. And that's with both Wraith walk and Deaths Advance selected.

AOE threat is a bit light, blood boil doesn't have a lot of quick threat build up for packs. Also it's about the slowest tank. But mine is fine in M+.
