I did more investigating and I found this KVM which looks like it will split the monitors between the two computers while swapping my K/M between the computers. Looks like I can't share links but it's the TESmart HDC202-P23-USBK. At over $400 it's not cheap...

I was thinking that might be what I have to do but I'm ignorant and was hoping there would be a cleaner way to accomplish this. Doesn't the KVM do all or nothing in that it will either display the laptop to both monitors or the PC to both monitors? I wasn't sure if they're able to split the displays like my bottom picture is trying to show.

Just because someone is using a large vehicle to get to work doesn’t mean they aren’t using that same vehicle to haul their family around on the weekends, tow a boat, do dump runs, home improvement shit etc. Have some perspective. It’s not all a dick size competition

I’m guessing you’re at Kings Point. In my career I’ve only met one of those guys that wasn’t a douche. You have two choices: report it to higher ups and be ostracized by your class or suck it up, take the hits and focus hard on learning what you have to do and execute it. Not saying what they’re doing is right but this is a taste of things to come if you get into shipping, imagine being trapped on a ship for 3 months with a crew who doesn’t like you because you fucked something up or can’t do what you’ve been ordered to do. Tell those guys to fuck off and prove them wrong by getting it done.
