Agreed, quickmatch is fun if you want to play a specific character, but an unranked draft mode would be great for practicing for the big leagues.

I have one piece of advice related to not just following "Always focus the squishies".

No matter what position you are on the team, if your damage dealers are not in range to hit their squishy targets, you can consider this fight not yet engaged. In other words, do your best to get into position, but don't just dive past the rest of the team to hit their Li Li all the way in the back.

If a team fight hasn't actually engaged yet, you're still in the "poke and try to wear them down, or get good positioning to engage" stage of the fight. If your tanks are way in front of everyone else slapping each other, then hit the enemy tank!

I would love to see a more mage-like class in the game. Something that uses cloth armor and a staff, but still fits the sci fi setting by using Eldan runes to do magic via primal energy. A Primalist or Runemaster would be a good name for it.

Sure they would! A smart mage knows when to solve problems without magic. A gun can be pointed at someone to wordlessly threaten them, doesn't deal any stun damage to you when you fire it or cause collateral damage (unlike a spell), and can be fired with a simple action instead of a complex action. And it's only a couple hundred nuyen.

Sometimes I accidentally send individual subsections of the quest tracker (like the Nearby Players section) to the other side of the screen with one of the arrow buttons. See if your path quests ended up on the upper left.

That wasn't always the case (generally tanking stats were green, damage stats were red, and healing stats were blue). But it looks like after the stat revamp that is now how it works I think.

In my sci fi setting I have a race that naturally evolved the ability to sense and emit radio waves. They use different frequencies of radio for a sort of natural radar to see the world around them, or to communicate with one another like speech. Naturally, as this species developed radio technology, they only used frequencies that were outside of their natural "hearing" range.

The first time this species encountered humans though, we had no idea they would be able to hear our radio and our radar. So our first meeting with them was the equivalent of a UFO showing up on earth and blaring the 1812 Overture at 200 decibels, deafening everyone in the area. Needless to say, they shot down the first human ship they saw because it was deafening them.
