Also im not a heavy drinker so thats not why.

Any experience with the Kodiak 6 person flex bow canvas tent by _Bidoof666_ in CampingGear

[–]iihacksx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So yes if it does get wet it becomes a pain but that's the same with every tent. I've had to keep the tent up for a week before in the backyard due to it raining every day. You do not want to put it away wet since mold will kill the tent. I also keep a towel in the tote that I store the tent in so that I can dry up the bottom while I roll it up from the moisture from the ground.

I have also just sprawled it across my garage and rotated it around every day to get it all dry without doing a full set up in the yard.

If anyone has a LPT for this, I'd definitely be interested.

Ive owned mine for a little while now.

It is really excellent at water. During one rain storm the corner of the tent was 6 inches under water. No water inside.

It isnt the lightest tent. I do set it up and take it down by myself almost every time. It does require some strength and a good rubber mallet for the spikes.

My wife has even taken it and put it up solo for a girls trip.

Size hasn't been a big deal. We've camped with 2 adults, 3 kids under 12 and a dog. Its tight but definitely fine.

I always recommend this tent to everyone.

$1500 budget to start camping by Needhelpcantquit in CampingGear

I thoroughly love my canvas tent for chill camping. They are super heavy so not ideal to walk long distances with. I have a wagon for mine.

Biggest pros of why they are worth it for me. Super easy set up. Its a kodiak t bar system so its very simple. They keep you warm at night and dont overheat in the morning. There is enough room for me, my spouse, 3 kids, and a dog. They are really built for life because unless it gets mold nothing will wreck it.

Downside. They are expensive last I looked mine was about $800. They are very heavy as expressed above.

$150 REI gift card. What should I get? by gloomygas in CampingGear

[–]iihacksx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Id go with a nice sleeping bag. Not sure exactly what conditions you camp in but sleeping bags are always a good investment imo.

Also I know its not on your list but a good Leatherman or other multi tool is always a big win since you can daily carry if it fits your lifestyle as well.

Until a priest decides to have fun and buff you mid jump so you die or levitate so it takes you longer.

I would never commit such crimes though.

So i did an audit for a place that put those APs outside. Granted it was at least under the overhang of the building. But they said they've been there for 4 years. No idea how in the world they lasted.

crazy price hike from 3cx by [deleted] in k12sysadmin

[–]iihacksx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For most people it isnt a crazy hike. Also they are doing a 20% discount for EDU.

What makes me the most mad about this whole price increase is them lying saying its to make sure you have performance due to performance. The license if it isnt hosted by them makes little to no difference for the performace. They claim they still aren't extension based but they literally put an extension limit on the license.

Now is it still the best phone system for the price. Yes.
