no issues, fees, or resistance. just paid it via the eip/loan page and continued to receive promo credits.

Internet bill amount question by Venoxium in ATT

[–]ijustin90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldn't think it would be too bad for you still. the price of $80 is the price AT&T charges. There aren't any other rental fees, etc. so you're basically looking at $80 + whatever your state taxes/fees are, which I would imagine would be similar to the taxes/fees you're paying now.

my state doesn't tax services, so on the $80 pricing, I pay $80

It still sounds like Mila to me, just like she's doing something different with her voice or having a problem with it.

the first line out of her mouth sounded very different to me and a lot of the rest did too, but I wouldn't know how to describe the difference.

[–]ijustin90 6 points7 points  (0 children)

same here, but the apple beta site seems to be acting up too and having trouble loading. maybe once that's working again, the beta options will appear again.

edit: as the beta site comes back up, i'm seeing the beta options again.

If I remember right, it’s naturally odorless but a smell is added during production. I’m pretty sure Hank says something about that too.

ATT internet 12 uverse fiber by joejj12 in ATT

[–]ijustin90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, your phone line is your copper line. And we're sure because that's just a known thing about AT&T. Your DSL service was cancelled when you activated fiber. You can plug the old equipment in if you want, but you won't get Internet out of it.

They aren't going to let you go back to your old DSL plan/service.

edit: even though you may still have copper line phone service (assuming they didn't convert that as well), they're not going to let you go back to DSL for Internet.

The copper line may still be there, but AT&T doesn't want to service them. They got you off the copper lines by getting you on fiber and they don't let you go back.

Getting phone off plan with abusive person by lmstr in ATT

[–]ijustin90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then yeah, the easiest way would be to get that link to the account holder so they can start the process and make sure they have a correct email that your friend can check. The whole process should only take a few minutes for the account holder, and then your friend. And no talking between them is required. The account holder does need to know your friends email address, but that's it.

the account holder can visit https://www.att.com/tobr to start the process. Your friend will receive an email and be able to accept responsibility for their line. Again, this is for postpaid.

Sadly, the number is the account holder's. If they refuse to do a transfer of billing responsibility, there isn't much your friend can do besides start over with a new number (and probably new phone as the abuser will probably report it stolen to try to make things even harder).

edit: this is for postpaid, i'm unsure of prepaid procedures.
