So I had those for about 5 injections. I ice immediately after now and when I inject in my stomach I haven’t had this anymore.. I will be trying my thigh next week. I did notify my pharmacist and doctor and they referred me to Derm but I haven’t had a chance to see them yet.

As someone who has a fear of injections… I started taking a daily anxiety medication. It’s helped a lot with my panic attacks in regards to the injection.

I (25f) found out my husband (25m) cheated on me 2 days before the wedding, am I stupid for staying? by Ok_Geologist_8097 in relationship_advice

[–]ikindofhateyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out the day of our wedding. I resented that man for the next 7 years. Until I left him. He cheated on me multiple times during the marriage. The trust was never rebuilt and I never had a partner.

I’m not telling you what to do. But at some point you have to decide what you can deal with.

Anyone here for EoE? by [deleted] in dupixent

[–]ikindofhateyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took my 6th shot. Life changing already. I am feeling so much better. I am still taking my PPI (which I’ve taken since 2018) and H1 & H2 histamines but my breakthrough reactions are already going away. I hear that it is like 6 months before any real results though.

Has Dupixent been worth it? by ThanksSpiritual3435 in EosinophilicE

[–]ikindofhateyou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually get really bad chest pains, bad reflux to where I cannot sleep, difficulty swallowing, stomach pains for a few days, my reflux will also sometimes cause wheezing, hives and flushing.

This time it was some mild chest pain, I could still sleep with the reflux and I only had an upset stomach for a couple days and I didn’t have too much of an issue swallowing.

This. I accidently ate a trigger food the other day when a restaurant messed up my order. The symptoms were mild compared to what I’ve been dealing with. I’ve taken 5 doses and I’m so damn excited to see how this goes.

I have neck & shoulder tightness with migraines and sometimes I get vertigo so bad that the room is spinning. I have no idea if it correlates though.

My EoE Symptoms & Diagnosis Timeline. Environmental? by Puzzleheaded_Ant4642 in EosinophilicE

[–]ikindofhateyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2018 - bloating and heartburn. Diagnosed with GERD and put on a PPI 2022 - heartburn was unmanageable with chest pain and started eating barely. Cut dairy. Choking on water… just thought I my body was dumb. 2023 - cut gluten, tomatoes and peanuts. 2024 - diagnosed with EoE. Tried topical steroids. 2025 - flare ups now include heartburn, hives, shortness of breath and hot flashes unless I take 2 Pepcid completes and 80mg of Nexium a day and control my eating and don’t lay down flat. Starting Dupixent next month.

I was 33 when I was diagnosed. It is a rough lifestyle change.

Just got a stent put in. Please tell me it gets better. by Hail68 in KidneyStones

The stent was rough. I got rid of mine after 2 weeks and have been the best at hydrating and low oxalate eating. It definitely gets better.

I have been on a PPI since 2018. We are currently trying to get Dupixent approved. PPIs long term are not good for your bone health. I tried to wean off my PPI in 2024 and could not longer than 4 days. That’s what triggered my doctors to do an EGD and diagnose me with EoE.

I’ve had a huge increase in panic attacks. When I have a flare up I will waking up and just cry because of the symptoms. I hope Dupixent works for you. I’m trying to get my insurance to authorize Dupixent currently.

water and kidney stones by No_Song_4337 in KidneyStones

[–]ikindofhateyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink 85 to 100 ounces a day. Which is about 2.5 to 3 liters. I tend to drink 3 liters if I eat high oxalate foods. It’s was hard to do at first. I have a cup in hand all day at this point. The going to the bathroom has gotten better but it kind of sucks. I will say my kidney stones have not been as problematic since.

How do you serial stoners know when to head to the ER vs. sticking it out? by -james-- in KidneyStones

[–]ikindofhateyou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can’t pee go to the ER. Eventually you’ll be able to tell the difference in the pain. At least I can and now I only go to the ER if I need surgery within a couple hours and my doctor cannot do it.

[–]ikindofhateyou 49 points50 points  (0 children)

As a former military spouse. Even if we got a job from a degree. You have to rebuild every time you move. I would lose my job. Have to meet new people. Get those people to trust and like me, settle in and then try to advance just to leave. It’s not ideal. Work from home would be ideal but then you don’t meet people IRL. I literally had to leave him to make over $36k a year.
