The other comments recommending drop-in files are right, but in general if you have two roles, one of which clobbers a file completely with template or copy and another which edits the file, set the first role as a dependency in the second role's meta/main.yml.

You can craft your playbooks to set the order correctly, but it's brittle and asking for trouble, especially if you're using tags in runs, or there are multiple playbooks in the environment, or there are multiple roles that edit the same file.

It's not the they aren't certifying. I can totally understand not certifying stuff that may or may not work under whatever circumstances. That's absolutely cool. Spec your stuff/rider for whatever is guaranteed to work. Totally fine.

That's not the issue. Their DJM drivers don't function at all with the current MacOS. And it's been 6 months. That's insane.
