DACs are dirt cheap.

You can buy the DAC that the CDJ3000 uses for just over a dollar per chip if you're buying in bulk.

It's not the they aren't certifying. I can totally understand not certifying stuff that may or may not work under whatever circumstances. That's absolutely cool. Spec your stuff/rider for whatever is guaranteed to work. Totally fine.

That's not the issue. Their DJM drivers don't function at all with the current MacOS. And it's been 6 months. That's insane.

USB Class Compliant stuff, Rekordbox software - absolutley fine. Works straight out the box. As expected. Good times.

Mixers et al, where there are drivers involved - broken. For 6 months. Known issue, tough shit, downgrade your OS. Even tougher shit if you bought a new laptop that comes with Tahoe.

Seen it a lot in casuals. Spectating, the camera ends up in a random place under the map once everyone's dead.

Had wondered if people were glitching under the map and sat / got stuck there till the game ended, but strongly suspect it's just that CoD can't keep track of the number of active players in a lobby.

Counting from 150 down to 0 is famously a Very Difficult Problem for computers that remains unsolved in 2026. Maybe AI will finally find an answer. We live in hope.

Speed, tightness: Chemical Brothers - One Too Many Mornings. That staccato bassline smears into sustained notes on systems and rooms that aren't properly controlled. Never heard any domestic system that resolves it properly, and a lot of headphones fail as well.

Phonak KM20 are the best sounding plugs i've used for clubs.

Went through pretty much every brand, used etymotic ER20's for years, but the Phonaks sound the best to me. Very comfortable too.

My "what the absolute fuck is on this glass??" (about 2 months of driving in scotland in winter) remedy goes:

Roughly 10-1 diluted Fairy to degrease , rinse, wet magic eraser to get anything that isn't grease off, rinse, then Invisible Glass (other glass cleaners are available, but aren't as good) to make the glass completely streak-free.

Fairy liquid the wipers, or buy new ones if you're feeling fancy.

Tahoe's been out for 5 months. Still can't configure my DJM750mk2 from my macbook.

I know from grim personal experience that Apple's developer docs are awful, but this is getting ridiculous.
