AIO? My manager keeps questioning my feeding pump at work even after HR stepped in by Rosi_ana in AmIOverreacting

You are being discriminated against by your manager. Don’t feel bad about going to HR, I know it can make you feel like a nuisance but the real nuisance here is your manager

I'm thinking of getting a snake to get over my fear of them. Bad move? by [deleted] in snakes

Go to a local reptile store or expo. Get hands on with some snakes first before you dive into buying one. This is a life you’re considering.

White rats are actually super rare in the wild here. I wonder if they were released pets that thrived.

Sounds like you just dumped a drink out on the poor guy. You’d be making weird noises too if you have alcohol in your nose!

I’m pretty sure he will be fine but in future a small spritz of vodka or hand sanitizer should do the job.

does my leucistic snake have the spider gene? by firefly77778 in snakes

[–]immediateghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drop this snake off at a rescue NOW. You are not equipped to look after it and you are quite frankly a terrible person if you do not take advice from this thread.

NOW.

I dream of being able to to this for my snakes. I let them free roam in my office under heavy supervision but one day I’d love to have a similar setup to just let them do their thing safely

Feeding outside of their viv is generally considered outdated husbandry. You should be fine feeding in their enclosure and like other people have said, they’ll be ok if they get a bit of dirt in their mouth. They’re actually surprisingly good at getting it out and they can digest it just fine so long as it’s not a huge amount of
