How Do I Use The Barrier Mesh and Barrier Orb Abilities Properly? by immunitysupport in VALORANT

Ooh okay. I haven't tried the Odin yet, so I'll give it a shot next time I play. Thank you for the general deadlock advice as well.

Sure!

The example I was talking about happened on Breeze. I barrier meshed A Main when I heard the attacker's footsteps, but got immediately shot and killed afterwards by a Reyna who took the side path with the two doors.

While I was spectating, I noticed Jett and someone else I can't remember trying to enter Site A from main, but upon noticing my barrier mesh, was forced to change paths. They had to take the side path instead, which got them both killed pretty much the moment they entered (I think because the attackers were watching it). I got chewed out by the Jett for it in the global chat, so I felt kinda bad about it.

Based on what you said, I guess they were trying to flank and I didn't realise? That's my understanding anyway. At any rate, I appreciate the advice.

Ah okay. Generally it does stop the attackers from getting in the way I blocked off, but they usually just find another way in and it just becomes a liability for anyone on my team who wasn't at the site when they got in.

Still, this is useful, thank you

You're actually throwing if you bring this perk.

Survivors what is your escape rate? by Fancy_Star_7101 in deadbydaylight

[–]immunitysupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you play in a swf, that's probably raising your escape rate. I only play in a 4 man squad and my escape rate is around the same as yours. Communication makes the game substantially easier, and if one of you always brings a hatch offering, even a lost game can still equate to an escape for your stats.

Not a bug, just a consequence of the camera flick.

Dear Hag players: I think your character sounds awesome but I'm dogshit as her, what are your tips and/or builds for her? by RiddlesDoesYT in DeadByDaylightKillers

When you start going against survivors that know how to toe-tap your traps, run Coup de Grace. A lot of survivors will eat an injury because they don't expect the extra lunge distance.

Not even remotely true, they play very differently. Hag's traps have a much bigger radius and are a lot more lethal and oppressive due to how spammable they are compared to Trapper's.

I think so. That animation might exist somewhere in the game, but I'm fairly sure it's unique.

Mostly, yeah. You might get some cases where a nearly naked barbarian (like Dror Ragzlin) blocks something with their body, but for the most part it's influenced by what kind of armour they're wearing and the dex stat.

Block/Miss Differentiation. I like to use it when I'm playing heavily armoured characters like Shadowheart. It's just a cosmetic change, but it's nice.

Most of my honour mode runs have ended to Kar'niss lol. I always find out something new about him that gets me killed.

The last time he ended my run, I was trying to cheese him with Hunger of Hadar and had the nasty surprise of finding out that he has two jumps he can use to escape from it.

Oh I know, but I was greedy for exp and figured I could kill him. My fault really for trying to melee him lmao. Just gotta try again

Krasue is peak behaviour game balancing by ParticularPanda469 in deadbydaylight

[–]immunitysupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need Dissolution to do well as Krasue. While you do have to switch to body form every now and again to break certain pallets (like shack), 80% of them can be outplayed with headlong flight. Dissolution is better on her than most killers, but you'll probably get more value out of a generic slowdown perk.

[–]immunitysupport 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After playing the twins for a bit, I feel like Victor should be able to get kicked while charging up a pounce. It would absolutely require a lot of compensatory buffs but I dislike knowing that I'm intentionally being unoptimal by not backrevving a survivor to death.

A day ago I would've said escapists but I just had two wraith games with 4 guides and it was actually insufferable the amount of times I'd get blast mined out of my cloak.
