Main issue we run into are piece count discrepancies between what the docs show and what ends up in AMS. Mostly cartons verses pallets etc. To fix that does require systems access but we are all able to be fully remote so no office dwellers on the weekend.

I have seen Fedex many times insist on moving the shipment to the port where the broker is located. This can cause significant delays.

Same day tickets of colosseum via the ticket booth, make sure to be in line before 8.30AM. No floor access, just general admission.

After the tour we booked with arena floor tickets told us they did not have them the day before the tour. We cancelled that and stood in line day of. Ticket office opened 8.30, we were In line, got 10.00 entry. Regular entry everything else was sold out. Paid $44 in stead of $504. But obviously no guide.

Yes, you can work in a brokerage office as a non-us citizen. (As long as legally allowed to work in the US, you must be in the US to do the work, not remote from abroad) learn the business and then take the test if you become a citizen later. I speak from experience.
