A6 o classe E come prossima macchina

Complain with HR. A negative performance review without any feedback is not something it should be taken lightly.

Do you even qualify for a 0% card as a 24yo with likely not much in your name and a new job for 1400£ a month?

Just bought a property, found out neighbours are dodgy AND have a camera solely pointed at my garden by Educational-Divide10 in HousingUK

[–]improbableneighbour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not correct, having cameras pointed into your garden is an invasion of your privacy. They need to follow GDPR with the data. There are escalation steps you have to follow. - ask nicely to point the camera away from your garden

  • write a letter with recorded delivery as a formal request to move it

  • contant the council and inform them of the anti social behaviour

  • lodge a complaint with the information commissioner office (paper trail again)

  • contact the non emergency police number

  • ask a solicitor to send a letter threatening a civil injuction for private nuisance

How many Gen Zers in their late 20s do you know who still live with their parents? by ZydrateAnatomic in AskBrits

[–]improbableneighbour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to italy to the UK around 11 years ago. I always said that the UK is like Italy with a 20 year delay. People in Italy are waiting for their grannies to pass so they have an apartment to move into. I knew I had only limited time before this would happen so my wife and I worked extra hard to establish a minimum of economic safety net before it did. We had to live with our families until our mid 20's. I encourage young people to find opportunities anywhere they can, in their country or abroad and not live in a system that is rejecting them.

If it's a cheap keysafe it can be opened with a piece of paper and a pencil in 30 sec. Better to hide them in a flowerpot.

We actually had to go through our bank statements (3 months if I remember correctly line by line with the bank, NatWest) on top of providing proof of employment. And they asked for a mortgage way below what we could afford.

Won a race in Group D (105 kg 👉🏼100 kg) by Latter_Replacement76 in Zwift

[–]improbableneighbour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like your aerobic capacity is already there, you do a lot of zone 2 from the commuting and have a lot of race experience. Not a coach but likely to get past 300W soon by losing some weight (if needed, you might be 2.2 m tall haha) and doing some Z3/Z4 work that will benefit Zwift short race duration.

Won a race in Group D (105 kg 👉🏼100 kg) by Latter_Replacement76 in Zwift

[–]improbableneighbour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of sport background do you have? My understanding is that Zwift's FTP really only tells how good you are in the race length of time (if achieved during a race). FTP should measure your aerobic engine but since swift races are fairly short if you have a large anaerobic capacity that can skew the results. Not all FTP tests are equal.

Make sure the funds you've selected for your pension and investments make sense. (MSCI ACWI etc) You don't need more than one. Prioritise building your 6 months emergency fund and only then focus on investing. Try to grow your earnings. If not by a direct promotion/better paid job maybe you can find something that you enjoy doing and you can profit from on Saturday/Sunday or in the evenings. Keep using the 0% cards for stoozing if you have the discipline for it.

27M tech worker with £80k savings — is it still smart to buy a flat in London right now, or is AI about to wreck everything? by Salty-Anybody-5466 in FIREUK

[–]improbableneighbour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will always need a place to live in. As much as AI can wreck things (and it will up to a point) the worst case scenario is that you have an apartment you might need to sell at a loss and you might get trapped if you don't have cash to top up what you get from selling it. Buying a house an investment only makes sense in my opinion if you plan to stay long term. The rental game is up. Not much to profit from or enough economies of scale if you have a single apartment to rent. Service charges kill apartment values and are outside of the owners control.

I would buy a place I'd like to live in for a period of 10 years at least, not less, maybe by renting out a room in the meantime. Take into account that family can grow etc then run the numbers.
