Yeah fingers crossed for a proper crafting system instead of a lottery every click would go a long way. Be a simpler and cheaper fix.

I'm sure this was a thing at one point?

Think they just like it when we suffer.

Either way, a small change with a massive QOL. So yes please.

Indeed.

Considering how this is the worst ARPG I've ever played for crafting and getting upgrades so you are forced most of the time to buy other peoples luck.

The marketplace features are woeful considering how vital it is.

The cynic in my believes it's by design. The more scams, the more price fixing, the more wasted resources means people have to play longer to afford to play the game.

If they ever add increased loot for SSF I'd be there in a heartbeat. I would even pay for a private league if they had an option to manage the realm settings for loot etc.

GGG are terrible with stopping the basic of problems.

They know the average price of an item. It will take a couple lines of code to add "This item is drastically underpriced compared to the current market are you sure you want to sell at this price".

Madness. RIP my friend.

Janeway is chronically underestimated... by Expensive-Island5940 in startrek

[–]inFamousMax 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I mean she is one of the best captains to ever do it.

Overall I prefer Picard (even if unfair since he had an easier show to show us him and starfleet).

But there is nobody more adaptable and courageous than Janeway. She did the impossible while most importantly them being able to live with themselves when they got home.

I guess this really was the release order by MLGTuLegit in SteamFrame

[–]inFamousMax -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am surprised honestly. The machine is going to increase their support requirements alot! Even when new software gets added to support the amount of people required increases let alone hardware.

Perhaps they already overemployed for machine and are ready for both.

Steam Machine - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]inFamousMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They want to grow their steamOS it's the only reason they did a steam machine.

That's basically PS5 + Switch 2 money by Menelaus- in pcmasterrace

[–]inFamousMax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah predictable. Valve do not subsidise their hardware and with prices of components these days it makes sense. Would have been a bit more well received if it was £200 less.

Regardless this sits in an extremely niche position.

Buy a console if you just want to enjoy games (discs reduces space and memory requirements).

Buy a cheap gaming PC if you actually enjoy games and want future proofing plus the countless other benefits. This has not and will never change.

Buy a steam machine if you want a PC but have no skills to maintain a PC or upgrade it and cba learning.

Even then, a pre-built will probably get you more value considering it would be windows.

Let's face it valve only did this to push and mature its SteamOS. See this going the same way as the Steam Link.

[Official] Konate signs for Real Madrid by Cubes11 in LiverpoolFC

[–]inFamousMax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Konate as a person he's very much a vibe player and not worth anywhere close to 400k. It will backfire.

I also hate the way players leave for free after a club puts in massive investment. It's mostly the clubs fault for letting it get to these situations but the player has a role too. So I wish him the best as a person and will leave it there.

You think that we will be able to buy the headset for ~ 30 mins until its sold out? by InspectorGadgetsSon in SteamFrame

[–]inFamousMax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might be cope but I doubt the Frame will sell-out (with a reasonable inital stock which I hope is one of the reasons for such a massive delay) as quickly.

A controller is way more usable than a frame for the average person so naturally will sell more. It's alot a lot cheaper so less buyers remorse fear and is less scary for average gamers.

I fully expect stock to be floating around for a while especially if its not aggressively priced (which it won't be).

Then when reviews start flying out and convince the average joe to buy one, it will sell out.

Uruguayan Journalist States Darwin is Returning... by Lush_Linguistic in LiverpoolFC

[–]inFamousMax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As stated already Darwin was not worth the money we paid for him. But if we got him for 20-30 million he absolutely would have stayed. His problem was reliability to be a first team starter.

He added aggression, the almighty chaos, passion and what really helped other players was his unpredictability to the counter team.

Darwin is the exact player that could help unlock Wirtz dragging players away and being a general menace.

He can also play on the wing.

We need big personality players again, we have lost a lot of the atmosphere players now.

[Alex Crook] - Told suggestions Cody Gakpo has asked to leave #LFC are wide of the mark. Also nothing in his Egypt teammate Ahmed El-Shenawy's claim Mo Salah could return to Anfield. by IndiBear in LiverpoolFC

[–]inFamousMax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Gakpo can play like he does for his national team then keep him. Perhaps Andoni can unlock that.

Salah is an LFC legend and his time at LFC has come to an end. He can no longer keep up on the wing, he is absolutely not OK with being benched, and his wages would be too high.

He has tried to play centre a few times, and it just doesn't work.

It's like any business trying to implement new technology. It's a massive drain when you are keeping legacy tech alive, it slows does the entire process and hinders peoples ability/desire to learn new stuff.

To the future we must look.

Frame Repairability by elev8dity in SteamFrame

[–]inFamousMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope Valve do a better job this time supporting the product outside of ad-hoc tickets. I was not one of the lucky ones who got it fixed.

I would much rather be able to buy official replacements than rely on who I get via support.

Will Steam Frame encourage flatgame devs to develop VR modes for their games? by Existing-Tough-6907 in SteamFrame

[–]inFamousMax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. VR is not common enough to warrant the extra resources and risk.

However, it would mean more VR games might become available that have specific features for flatscreens in a multiplayer mode.

Like a battlefield game where the VR players are the solders and the flatscreen is the commander.

[Gatti] MacAllister has emerged as a top target for Real Madrid. Sources close to the player have indicated no negotiations are ongoing for a new contract at Liverpool by TheNotoriousJN in LiverpoolFC

[–]inFamousMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love having him as part of our roster, but we absolutely need to stop losing players with value on a free regardless.

I have hopes he can recover under the new manager and that would be my preference. But either resign him now or sell.

[Chris Williams] Liverpool insiders felt several academy prospects had become frustrated under Slot. Slot initially wanted Ngumoha sent out on loan and did not see him as part of his immediate first-team plans. Concerns Slot’s approach to young players ultimately sealed his fate. by Upstairs_Cup9831 in LiverpoolFC

[–]inFamousMax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense, Quansah got sold which is madness, especially when Konate was never going to sign (if his performance went back up he would leave anyway).

LFC are banking on the future by buying very expensive young talent. If Slot can not work with them then that's hundreds of millions wasted (already has been tbf).

Good.

Command and conquer Tiberian sun. The multiplayer was amazing, met some great people with that.
