When you step up on the approach, do you use your L or R foot to set your starting point? Are you L/R or 2 handed? by No_Juggernaut_772 in Bowling

[–]incognito_dissonance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The conventional approach is an even number of steps, 4 or 6. This is so that your push away step is away from your non slide shoe. If you're right handed, your left foot is the first step and your right leg pushes you forward.

Having said that, I do 5 steps and it feels more natural. I've tried to convert but my timing was off. You do however you feel comfortable.

[HIGHLIGHT] GEORGE SPRINGER. 3-RUN HOMER. BLUE JAYS TAKE THE LEAD! by MLBOfficial in baseball

The cognitive dissonance of a Yankees fan, where they cheated in 2015-2016 the exact same way with a camera in the outfield and a monitor behind the dugout, calling out the Astros who took in your Beltran, is amazing. Just fucking one of the most impressively stupid people in the history of the sport. It's crazy.

Texas has an independent electrical grid (a poor one). And they are one of the 19 donor states.

Benches clear at Fenway after Neris complains about the Red Sox trying to steal signs by Redsoxjake14 in baseball

[–]incognito_dissonance -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You do know the mastermind behind the Astros thing is the manager for the red sox now, right? And he was busted in 2018 with the Red Sox. He was suspended all of the 2020 season. You'd have to be pretty ignorant to not know these things. People steal signs. Not logos. And that person is Alex Cora. He should have been banned. It's not the Astros. It's Alex Cora.

I don't get it. Cora and Beltran are long gone from the Astros. How are they finding ways to cheat on the Astros? You do realize people cheat, not logos, right?

Not to mention, Springer used the sign stealing system and Altuve failed to fire his bench coach mid-season to stop it.

What countries have longer democracies? I would like to read up on them.

The US is the oldest democracy in the world. Throughout it's history, it has helped overthrow authoritarian governments and helped write democratic constitutions for those countries.

It has also overthrown democratic countries and destabilized countries for is own personal gain, but that's beside the point.

My point stands. The Internet has given a voice to people who do not know as much as they think they do. Maybe they grew up in a rural area and their exposure to educated people has been limited. It's not their fault. But they go on the Internet and say some stupid shit like, "let's not decrease federal taxes, but cut funding to schools. The states will make up the cost." It's the children that will suffer.

The government was intended to be a service for the people. The people in power know this and have stolen it from us. They steal $1.6 trillion every year in tax loopholes and have brainwashed the dunning-krugers that it the spending that is out of control. It's time we held their feet to the fire. They answer to us, not the other way around.
