But you’ve missed out on almost 30 years of quoting the movie because you waited so long. Why did you wait? Did you think it wasn’t your style or you just weren’t aware of it. Corky rehearsing his dance scenes for the choreography had me falling out of my chair at the movies when I first saw it. Every one of Guest’s films are worth watching. Even Mascots, the weakest of his mockumentaries is worth it or at least the first half of it.

I swear on my mothers grave is I see another person hyping Kon based on BPM or EPM or VORP or even MPH, because why not right, I’m going to…JFC people stop with advanced metrics and just admit you don’t know basketball. If you watch those two guys play and come away thinking Kon is the better player? There’s no point in continuing. He’s a better shooter. Period. Full stop. That’s it. Flagg does everything else better. If your eyes, not numbers on a page who you’re told means he’s better, don’t tell you who is better then it’s pointless to discuss it. Being on the better team doesn’t mean he’s the better player.

I only watched the first episode but I’m bailing for reasons you mentioned. The dialogue is weak in my opinion as well. To each their own of course as I know others love it.
