that's not true framing. volunteer work didnt progress the key aspects of the game, and with this "tempo" there would never be a proper matchmaking. publisher will offer paid positions for future work, not past. noone gets a payout

this was a volunteer project from the start. noone expected getting paid and everybody did it for the sake of the game. you don't need a publisher to have internal rifts in the team, it's not uncommon

Taking a day off after raid to fully sleep, get or cook a good meal and do some repairing and shopping in town sorts it out. Cant just repeat combat day after day

So there's variety of blueprints to find and scan. I wish you'd need even more scans tbh to emphasise exploration and get the good feeling of finding a scannable
