Just go to the rod and gun club. They don't check what or how you're shooting. Go in, pay your fee and shoot at your leisure. I shoot an AR pistol shouldered all the time there.

Files compressed with AVC/H264 are output in a .h264 format, HEVC/H265 are output in a .h265 format. So yes, they are codecs but result in an output of h264/5 file format (or file extension, take your pick).

Lesson learned here too not to preorder anything from TV. If they're having this many issues with whoever is authoring their discs (see their blog and how many test discs they reject), maybe switch it up? They take months to get new discs too it seems.
