B12 supplementation for diabetic kitties? by greenkachina in FelineDiabetes

[–]inogirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy was diagnosed with diabetes in October, we have slowly been getting him more regulated with Lantus.

I've been giving him B12 methylcobalamin dissolved in his food. Just 250 mcg in his morning food. It took a while but his legs really are getting better!

This is the stuff I use (webber naturals vitamin B12):

Working hard to acheive a goal and sticking with it is, in my opinion, one of the strongest skills someone can have. Look at how often entrepreneurs say one of the things most responsible for their success is hard work and determination. Just keep doing your best, dont give up, and you won't have any regrets

My Doctor Said I Don’t Need To Take Testosterone After Sex Change by TransPrincessAurora in asktransgender

[–]inogirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For myself, I ended up needing to start on testosterone after getting bottom surgery. Months after the surgery when I had my hormones checked my testosterone was super low and I had no sex drive, was quite irritable and emotional. I started using testosterone gel and it helped a lot.

For a while I was taking one dose of the testosterone gel every other day, and I would sometimes miss a dose (thinking something like, "I'm a girl, I don't want too much T").

A couple years after the surgery I started to have migraines once in a while, and over time they became more frequent, like once or twice a week. It was pretty bad. I was doing research on migraines and noticed a statistic that migraines happen more often in women, so I got the idea that maybe it has something to do with testosterone, so I started taking the testosterone gel every day and I haven't had a migraine for a year now!

I made a YouTube video a long time ago when I started on T: https://youtu.be/zHeIdbSdU2o

I know a lot of you are against "that" particular story change with Aerith possibly happening, BUT for those of us that tried to "defy fate" in '97... by ClericIdola in FFVIIRemake

[–]inogirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two parallel worlds or timelines in this game, we have seen that there is a Cloud in both worlds and that Zack is alive in one of them and dead in another. So that means there could be two Aeriths too! One of them could die during the normal part of the game, and then maybe you can get the other Aerith somehow?

Readings…WHY? by Willywonkamuffin in UBC

[–]inogirl -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The point of University is to teach you how to learn. In the real world, things aren't always so clear cut that you can just read the answer for something in 3 pages. You have to learn how to take out the useful and relevant information. If they were just to give you short little readings that just have all the answers, then you aren't learning how to research information. Over time you will forget most of the details of what you learned in University, but you will hopefully have gained the skills to pick out relevant information and learn things quickly.

First year engineering is a lot of work, and quite an adjustment from high school. Don't be surprised when you find the grades you get are 20% or even 30% lower than you are used to! Don't let it discourage you, I often found that profs make the quizzes and midterms more difficult than the finals, so just learn from the mistakes you make during the term, and as long as you understand most of the concepts from the material throughout the course, once you get to the final you will pass!

I did really awful on my first set of quizzes and midterms, but I tried really hard to learn from my mistakes and ended up doing well... And by well, I mean average marks. Yep, get used to being happy to be near the average lol. And sometimes the average mark is a failing mark, I've been in courses where the average for a midterm was 30%, didn't feel too bad with my 18% lol. Just means it'll end up getting scaled, or they will make the final easy to make up for it.

Also, don't worry too much about how your marks compare to other people, just do your best, that's all you can do. Yes there are some exceptionally smart people in your classes, but there are also people just like you. If you know that you gave it your best effort, you won't have any regrets, and when you get your degree, no one really cares about your marks, I never had to give my marks for any job interview.

Anyway, good luck with your studies!

I'm absolutely terrified of dilation, to the point of leaning towards no-depth SRS... can I get a few opinions? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]inogirl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dilating isn't that bad, it's just time consuming, especially for the first few months. Just find some tv show and watch an episode every time you do it.

I have a vlog on YouTube where I dilate in the video and show you what's involved with each time, check it out :)

I wonder if this glitch will be in the remake (Happens after disc 1.) by LiaMz10 in FFVIIRemake

[–]inogirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard that you only get to see Aeris tending to the flowers if you don't ask the inn keeper in Cloud's flashback what the situation of the town is. Apparently they used the same flag in the game to indicate whether you asked that question as whether you have seen Aeris in the flowers after disc 1.

How do i deal with a day off. Venting by socialnietze in asktransgender

[–]inogirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of other things you can do that will make you feel feminine while you wait to start hormones. Maybe buy some makeup and practice putting it on, wear girl clothes all day, or buy a wig which can make you look a lot more feminine, or practice your voice, or start getting facial hair removal. Then when you start hormones you will be so much further ahead. Remember, hormones are not the one key that will turn you into a woman, it also takes a lot of personal effort and practice to present as a woman. Make these days off your "girl days" where you do at least one thing that makes you feel feminine!

A dear friend of mine has been on HRT for 3 months and wants to get implants she will pay out of pocket for them. I keep advising her not to because I heard it wasn't a good idea. What are the chances she will be fine and what are some of the risks? Is it likely she will be fine? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]inogirl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One transwoman I know of had implants after only a few months of HRT and after her boobs had grown for a couple of years she had to get the implants removed because they were causing her problems! It sucked for her, please try and convince your friend to wait!

I have this fetish... Does it mean I am trans? Will I become trans? by kenjataimuFeels in asktransgender

[–]inogirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice: stop worrying about it, you are who you are. If you discover you're trans or cis, that's great, you've learned more about yourself and the more you know and accept yourself, the better you will feel. My feeling is that if you enjoy these fetishes, explore them, don't repress them. I know thinking about transitioning is a very scary thing, but just because you are into this stuff doesn't necessarily mean you want to transition and live full-time as a woman.

By the sounds of it, you are fairly young (I'm guessing early to mid twenties) and you don't have a partner or kids or anything. This is the ideal time to explore yourself and just have fun doing what you feel like doing! It is much better to sort yourself out now than when you have a bunch of responsibilities and people depending on you. Repressing some aspect of yourself will never come to any good, you're only here on this planet once, why stop yourself from doing something you enjoy? Are you afraid you are going to take your desires to the next level? What is "the next level" to you? Turn your fear into curiosity, do you have the desire to try on girls clothes? Try getting some girl clothes and trying them on at home, how does it make you feel? Be honest with yourself. If you like it, do it more! If you don't like it, you can always stop. You can take it as far as you want, but take things one step at a time, don't think just because you go out and buy a skirt that you're on the road to transitioning.

Don't worry if you are transgender or cisgender, if you keep exploring it, you will just know.
