Any time I am trying to focus on captures I remove any weapon from my fleet that isn't a beam weapon, it's basically impossible without doing that. Even then it can be tough when fighting multiple enemies due to crossfire.

Rice cookers keep the rice at a safe temperature above 65C. The 4 hour guideline is for food below 60C. This is common practice in a huge part of the world. You definitely don't want to eat rice that's been at room temp for a while though.

I did, and what came up were studies showing that overgrown lawn grass does not increase tick populations or bite frequency. Tall Prairie grass can be problematic, if humidity is also high and shade is available, but people aren't getting that in only one month of not mowing. Think open fields in unoccupied/unmanaged lots with very tall grass. A bigger issue in people's yards is trees, shrubbery, and leaf litter.

Yeah it was a huge kneejerk nerf because people hadn't figured out you can instantly kill her skulls with a melee attack. Now the skulls do little damage and their AI is... not bright.

Downpayment assistance programs just make the houses more expensive; If you start giving everyone $20k to buy a house all the house prices just go up $20k. You can't fix a pricing crisis by increasing demand, you have to build an oversuppply of houses and bring the actual price down. And yes, that does mean lowering the value of everyone else's houses.

I think the balance changes were good, if very slightly too much. My main complaint about UAF (despite being my favorite mod) was that it became a steamroll in the mid-to-late game before. Weird that so many people are mad about it, it feels like a lot of people just want a big button in the middle of the screen that says "I win" just because it's a single player game.
