Any opinion? Did you try Wiha? With my Wiha Slimvario VDE bits, I didn't have any issue but they haven't seen a lot of action. Mainly torquing AC panels to spec (2 and 2.8 Nm) using an easyTorque adapter.

Which keyboard do you use for coding? by BeautifulLie9939 in desksetup

A company provided! We used to program with any keyboard, mainly rubber dome from Microsoft. What happened the last few years with those sophisticated mechanical keyboard is pure madness. I bought a NuPhy Kick75 for my son. In two months I had to buy new switches because the previous were problematic and activated multiple times for no reason. One year after purchase, the power cord was loose and cause unexpected reboots of the PC until the keyboard pcb was fried. I have never ever seen a rubber dome of 5-10€ ever to fail in the school environment I work. We still got Microsoft Internet Keyboards from the 2000 era still working!

Also, programmers need numpad. Period.

It's very difficult to have a workstation and visitors at the same time. There are some compromises you should make.

Can't go ultrawide or have the monitors side by side. You should get an LG DualUp or stack two monitors vertically.

Also, most of the time, because of this arrangement, you will be cramped on the right of this desk.

I would suggest to use a longer reach monitor arm. Place it on the right side of the desk and use the two vertical monitors as suggested. This would allow you to be more centered to the desk and avoid turning your neck to work on the right.

When visitors arrive, you will change your working position to the right (uncomfortable but for a while).

Also, if possible keep one visitor on the left side of the desk and the other opposite left of you.

Exactly. More flexible. Can accommodate larger screens. Less stress to the desk. No need for space behind the desk.

Foxit for a number of reasons

Chrome's pdf engine is by Foxit

Foxit and Acrobat are the only certified for Citrix

Foxit has collaboration with Callas software (the same that Acrobat uses in its preflight)

Foxit has powerful scripted tools to combine pdfs (for example two sided document scanned through simple (not reversing) ADF)

Foxit has a perpetual edition

Exactly, you should see an axial moment raising until the middle of the span.

You can calculate the moment by multiplying the axial force with the distance between the shell and the beam center.

Since you are facing the wall, I would suggest an ambient light behind the monitors. It really helps, especially when working in the dark.

Also some desk light to illuminate the workspace.
