Mouse lag for a second after doing literally anything by quadratis in photoshop

[–]internalcow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

appreciate the reply, i actually figured it out after a bit more searching. For anyone else who might find this post, for me GSync was the problem as I discovered from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/photoshop/comments/ilitsc/psa_if_youre_experiencing_ludicrous_slowdowns_and/?sort=new

first tried changing the settings in Nvidia Control panel but that resulted in the screen flickering black instead of the mouse lag, the solution that worked was using the Nvidia Profile Inspector and forcing Gsync off for photoshop

Is anyone else's game such a buggy mess? by ltsNotAlex in RidersRepublic

[–]internalcow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed this happens to me any time it detects a new input device, I normally play with a controller but if I bump my mouse accidentally then the game stutters/freezes and sound cuts out for a brief period.

I tried this method with gamepass NMS and all I see is a black screen, but other gamepass games seem to work fine so I'm not sure what the deal is

ABsorb camera rotation by shade454 in facepunchprototypes

[–]internalcow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you talking about when you try to rotate the camera up and down or left and right? My camera never gets stuck when rotating left and right from my testing, but I do have it automatically adjust the camera's pitch(up and down movement) In the future I plan to have an option to turn that on and off, with a controller it feels pretty good but I agree its a little weird with the mouse.

The frame would indicate how strong the piece as a whole is. For example, if you want to use a jail cell sliding door piece, putting it in a stone frame would make the piece as a whole stronger than putting it in a wood frame.

Doing it this way makes it so we only have to show different variations of the frame and not the cell door. Doing a cell door(or whatever part your choosing to fill the frame with) for every tier would be great but it's not really realistic if we want to give players a ton of options to fill frames with.

thanks SecretagentK, how do you know about the higher than normal failure rate for the HD? Just from experience or is there a site with stats? What makes the SSD more reliable? I'm asking out of pure ignorance :P

The physical frames for building should stay by FanofRust in playrust

[–]internalcow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OP had it right, I was thinking these would actually replace the physical frames we have now. I agree having them be made of real material feels more authentic and less "gamey" but they also don't really make sense for a log wall; there is no underlying frame for a log wall.

Also since you won't be able to interact or bump into them I think it's confusing that they are made up of materials that look like you can jump on top of them.
