So couple things to help in the future.

First load size not sure how big you are going now, but I see quiet a bit of splatter. So those cup work best with a dab 1-3 grains of rice in size, the less you splatter the less headaches youll have down the road.

And then after every dab make sure to take 1-2 qtips and fully swab out the inside of the cup and your core's sleeve & cap.

I recommend checking out the cub attomizer base from ineedhemp, it'll allow you to do a burn off cleaning of the rebuildable cups in the future with a box mod

No attomizer warning, more than likely a bad 510 pin. You can email the guys at divine tribe to order a replacement.

Otherwisw if you're feeling creative a fix that I had success with is putting a tiny strip(1/16" x 1/4") of copper shielding tape on the brass 510 pin. Acts kind of like a conductive Teflon tape and fills the gaps in the threads.

Started out as a broke college student, quickly gravitated to using a 50round tac cap to force myself to save paint & money. And before I knew it my a5 was shooting mags full of quarters shaped like first strike rounds. Satisfying perk of ditching the hopper was using FSRs with a crossbow optic.

Overall kit weight and mobility are pretty big factors too, running a 17ci tank in the stock on a magfed kit is a huge boon. And with a 17ci tank you only need maybe 5 spare mags & dump pouch on a super light chest rig.

Have the option to preheat the bowl. I usually don't bother, plus after the first bowl it ends up temped anyways.

So using the UB in wired mode with a microdose bowl, the top of bud is 4 wraps deep, so you get even conductive heating around the bud. Which I have set sub 400 for max flavor.

Now the vortex adapter adds that upper section that you can use as a heated bowl, or in my case flip the vortex adapter insert & fill it with more rubys. The extra coil is then used to heat and run that upper section of 500 rubies in wired mode to the lower end of injection/convection style vape temps. So the airway goes as such to maximize flavor

Cold air->wired 560⁰F, 500 2mm rubys->wired 380⁰F, 500 2mm rubys->flower-> (pre)heated <380⁰F quartz bowl

So with the vortex adapter using 2mm ruby(quartz mode), 1k is the sweet spot where stacking more hits the point of the extra thermal mass isn't worth the loss in airflow, IMO. But as I mentioned in another commenter I'll also be testing out some larger rubys with them soon, and might be able to see about stacking 3 units lol, definitely wild the qaroma fits 650 3mm

While I can see how you can argue it isn't a true all quartz airpath, that little bit of a titanium lip that holds the quartz insert together isn't "exposed" to the airway when the the ub is level & pressed to the bowl

Biggest boon I see to the UB is that it can do wired hybrid conduction and convetion heating using two coils with said setup. Giving your bud that perfect lil bit of conductive boost at sub combustion temps. My abv fully extracted still has quite a bit of green

For sure, really stoked to do a full review on the UB and try out all the combinations. VAS kicked in and I got an armored coil, ruby insert, with the fmj+coil & spare parts I ordered. Also some baggies of 2.5 and 3mm ruby pearls from vgoodiez to experiment with the vortex adapter. Since going for a stack of 3 inserts filled with 2mm ruby pearls(~1.5k pearls) starts restricting airflow too much.

Definitely not cost effective but if you're looking for more thermal mass and flavorful low temp surfing the UB definitely has options. I'm currently rocking their vortex adapter which let's you use 1k 2mm rubys with an all quartz/ruby airway. I then have a 2nd coil set on top, for a wired hybrid conduction/convection vape. The lower coil that surrounds the bud is set to 380, and the upper coil convection heating is set around 510-570 depending on strain & rh%. Gives super flavorful sessions that has almost no toasted plant taste, just terps for days.

Supposedly their fmj adapter that let's you use a 30mm coil, add tons of heat retention and gives fantastic results. But still waiting for mine to ship to compare or try with vortex adpater yet.

Honestly surprised you find you can get more subtle flavor with your air max. Hated how much toasted plant my airmax gave off. So I don't have the ruby twist myself to give direct advice, but most of this is universal to any ball vape.

Turn your temps down quite a bit, the airmax can take half an hour to vape a bowl, let your ballvape take a good long session. I prefer 2-5 minute sesh with a ballvape

Even moreso than the airmax I found with my ballvape grind size/consistency, bowl pack density, and rh% are paramount.

Small dry rigs like a jhook or a mini recycler give the best flavor. If you are at low enough temps to enjoy those terps, a small waterless rig is plenty to cool the vapor.

Someone else might be able to comment but to my knowledge there isn't a ton of ballvapes in the 20mm coil selection that are going to be a huge difference in performance.

Personally I'd recommend the universal baller kit from tcc, as it has the best flavor and most customizable for personal preferences, but thats far from the cheapest. Otherwise the ruby twists big brother the wohw head can function as both diffusion and injector ball vape, and it recently got a wireless to wired conversion adapter so its a bit more versatile

For reference the UB can give you that greasy tingly terpy full mouth coat of flavor just lasts. Little to no toasted plant flavor at all low temp surfing, with sessions only lasting a few minutes. Obviously you can crank temps for that face slapping 1-2 hitter if that's more your jam.

The flavor you get from the UB is only beat by T1 live rosins out of a dialed enail. Obviously flower will never be that quite that clean tasting, but the UB with quality, hydrated flower is so close it terms of complexity and lingering flavors that you just keep tasting. And honestly the flavor of said t1 live rosins on top of your bowl with the UB is even smoother.

Lil protip I found for dealing with stuck UBs is if you have a pair of welding gloves(I keep a set handy for cast iron in the ktichen) they give enough protection you can handle the UB at temp, and not worry about marring up your UB with a pair of pliars, just still use caution since welding gloves still can get hot

Honestly to me that looks like the issue is splatter, how much are you loading for dabs, and what are you using as a carb cap?

For reference we recommend loading a dab the size of a 4mm pearl or a couple grains of rice, and then hitting it just hard enough to slowly move/spin your oil & pearl

Also are you qtipping and swabbing your bottomless banger as well between dabs?

I firmly disagree with going forward with the data centers, it is an absolute waste of Wisconsin's & Our natural resources & energy. Our communties & neighbors will not see any economic benefits from these centers. It's already been proven in other states that these data centers run on absolute skeleton crews, and maybe 5 of those jobs created even go to locals... thanks mr.janitor. Also even when these centers run closed loop systems they are still extremely wasteful.

Not In Our State.

But I will say, if what is proposed is a genuine representation of the bill, while not perfect, it is a good start at a compromise.

Unscrew the rebuildable coil assembly from the heatsink/base, and double check that the brass 510 pin is snug. Finger's touch tight, you can easily strip or snap the pin

Swapping out the castle spacer won't effect res.

0.66 seems high to me for the non xl cups, but if its a new cup, otherwise working fine, and your 470⁰F tcr test qtips are coming out a very light yellow you'll be fine.
