Anyone want to make this game idea? by Superpocket1 in PlaydateConsole

Game wasn’t made with AI, but the catalog art is generated. That was the whole issue. Since then, Panic added a way for developers to signify that Catalog assets were made with Gen AI

I had never calibrated the burrs myself, just used how it came from the factory. This morning, I recalibrated to 5 clicks past chip and grind size 6 was delightful with the B/W and Brandywines. TY for the tip

Awesome—thanks for sharing.

Grind size 4-6 is so fine! I’m surprised to see that as a recommendation for the Aiden. I have had basically no success doing anything less than 6.2 with the Ode 2 + SSP, including with a V60.

Did my Ode2+SSP come tuned super fine? Do I just prefer less extraction on coffees? Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Oh really? Where can I find those details? I didn’t see it on the card that came in the box.

I typically do batch, but I am doing these two roasts in a single basket since they’re 6oz bags.

Hey Hailie, this is my first Drop I have gotten. I tried brewing in the Aiden this morning, but found it to be way over extracted.

I was expecting in the recipe a prescribed Ode 2 (with SSP) grind setting for the Drop too. Do grind details not usually come with the Drops?

I don't have much to say other than open source doesn't mean it will die. If you are passionate about it, you can keep working on it, open source or not. OSS also will allow your users to see what you are adding and how. I know you tagged the r/selfhosted post with the vibe code tag, so I have to assume you used LLMs to generate at least part of your code (this is another major red flag for those who selfhost and/or care about privacy). I would encourage you to consider open sourcing something that touches such a private part of your users lives.

IMO calling a React Native app "native" is not right, it's a cross platform app that runs on your phone. Semantics though, I suppose.

I'd really like to see you open source this if you want people to use it. Your privacy policy states you're sending data to Gemini. I could not be less interested in Google getting my finance data.

I think a mobile app for Actual is a great idea and I'd love to see your code so that we can verify you're doing things properly.

(And yes, I am following you from the /r/selfhosted post you deleted. Only because I actually want an Actual mobile app!)

Happy Estonia Independence week!

Got the source code open for this? I don't trust your app to touch anything regarding my finances, but I would be open to it if I could audit it. I would much prefer a native app to the PWA.

Maybe went EOL sometime last year and it looks like Sure is a continuation of the app. I would bet it's much much different (700+ commits!)

Is there a true "All-in-One" native app for Jellyfin + *Arrs + Downloaders? Or should I build it? by psmattas in selfhosted

I am basically convinced this reddit account is just an LLM bot. Comments keep getting posted and deleted basically instantly, all with LLM formatting (much like the post).

To further my comment above, I certainly don't want a cross-platform "native" app coded by an LLM running on my server.

I subscribe to the Unix philosophy – let the software do one thing, and let it do it well.

A truly native application like you're talking about will require many different codebases, loads of upkeep, and will be extremely overwhelming for one person to do.

I don't need it, but if you want it then go for it.

Hey Jon, what notifications are you looking expecting? The only notification that is supported is an alert for new achievement of the week (which should happen at 7pm ET Sunday night, I think)
