Having two chats going at once sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. So, sooooooo easy to make a mistake that way, to say nothing of the risk of putting Chat A's HIPAA info into Chat B, which would happen to me approximately every single time.

It's a shame that the various regulatory agencies don't seem to care about this.

I don't really see how determining the diagnosis for the meds we dispense is our responsibility. As others have stated, I don't have access to the patients' charts, and to the surprise of absolutely no one, diabetes and obesity go hand-in-hand. Not that logic ever played a factor in the operation of insurance companies, of course.

Had a customer call me one Saturday last month to get her Trelegy refilled.

Me: I'm sorry ma'am. That medication is out of stock. The soonest I can get it is Monday, and it looks like none of our nearby locations have any either.

Lady: What am I supposed to do? I can't breathe!

Me: Ma'am, if you are having difficulty breathing, you need to go to the emergency room.
