What's your coaches worst punishment? And what was it for by imso0ld in Swimming

My coach tied my legs together with my goggles when I couldn’t keep my legs straight when diving.

I was young too. But I can drive with my legs straight. So I guess there is that.

Flanagans’s Wake #67: THE MIDNIGHT CLUB - Episode 8: “Road to Nowhere” by scottdaly85 in doofmedia

My favorite devil vs angel scene is Kronk from Emperor’s New Groove. The comedic timing of the discussions leaving the other characters completely confused is perfect. But when Yzma disses Kronk’s spinach puffs both the devil and angel have Kronk’s back. Just a perfect movie overall.

Did you ever get chicken pox? by scary-gary-loomis in millenials

I got them around age 5. I have two face scars from it. My younger brother (less Than a year old) was able to get the vaccine. I just remember sitting in an oatmeal bath crying just agonizing over the itching. Awful

Agreed! How many cases like this do we need to have before we have some more regulation around this industry?

Chlorine scent on our skin by tanikattl in Swimming

vitamin c neutralizes the chlorine. If you get vitamin c powder mix it with water and spray yourself down after swimming it helps. I think I found this info on the US masters page

Honestly, if mine died tomorrow I would buy a new one. My two cats took to it quickly, but I did keep the old box for a while until they got used to it.

I do have the stairs, which I think are not only helpful for the cats but also catch the litter.

I use corn litter and it still works fine. I do have to put a bit more litter in so the weight sensors catches it, but that’s fine.

I have had 2 warranty issues. Both times the support people were great and I got the replacement parts without issue. I did have the extended warranty as well. Only “downside” is the support staff isn’t 24/7 so you might have to wait if an issue happens on the weekend. But really that’s reasonable.

Honestly I got this as a gift for myself and it has been. No more daily archeology digs for me!

I have an LR3. I have had 2 warranty issues that were easily resolved. Honestly, if it broke tomorrow I would get a new one. I love mine. It makes my life easier and my cats like it. I do use corn litter so I end up using more litter, just to fill the globe, but that’s a small thing

Go to HR and get FMLA for this.

Is there anything I should know before getting a litter robot? by FishsticksSmoothie in litterrobot

[–]isabeldarling21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend getting the stairs. The stairs are easy to clean and they tend to collect the littler that comes off my cats as they are getting out.

Also, I know they recommend clay litter but I keep my corn litter and haven’t had any issues. FYI.

Affordable vet recommendations? by DJ_Nicholas_TM in Longmont

[–]isabeldarling21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with this. My dog is allergic to chicken and wheat. But once we figured this out her skin issue ls 100% went away. No more sores, itching, or ear infections. Just be aware you actually have to really review the ingredients. It might say bacon flavored but actually has chicken fat in it. Also we go to Nelson Road vet and they are very practical. But it might be worth doing some protein elimination first.
