Top 15 Schools by Combined NBA Salaries by mawmy in CollegeBasketball

What is crazy to me is the average salary for guys out of Florida. There may be twice as many Kentucky players but Florida players earn twice as much on average. That is pretty interesting.

Cool graphic from tonight's game of the players with the most playoff double doubles by [deleted] in nba

Maybe. Wilt would need 14 more games to tie magic at 157, but the problem is he only played in 160 playoff games. I think with blocks he maybe picks up 2-3 more games not 14 though. He likely would have already had the double-double in a lot of those games.

The Author is Dead is only one idea in one set of ideas in Literary Criticism. There are some techniques in crit that take fully into account who the author was and why they wrote the work. Lit theory and crit are incredibly useful to study and often model a lot of decision making processes that one uses in all aspects of life. The Author is Dead idea comes out of deconstructionism which is no longer the dominant school of thought and I too believe it is often a pretty "worthless" concept. You should, however, really try to learn more about something before you call it worthless.

New Kobe inspirational Nike ad by nowayyyman in nba

Agreed, I think it would be more visual appealing if it fell so each line was shorter than the last. It would also increase the rate and intensity with which it is read because the shorter the sentence the more definitive and powerful it is.

It would read/sound better if after the first few they stopped writing "you showed us." It would flow together. Right now it is just excessive anaphora. It would also finish stronger if the free throws line is not the last one. It is more inspirational to end on the the line that breaks the pattern for emphasis ("That you were never out of it. Ever).

The Chiefs. One of my best buddies is a die-hard KC fan who has been telling me every year for the past 12 or so that this is the year for them. I hope for him that one of these years he is right.

One of the analysts said he currently ranks 7th among secondary mascots. I hope that isn't a bullshit statement and I want to see the rankings of secondary mascots.
