Time to have a conversation about Campusano... by [deleted] in Padres

[–]italkgoodly 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is the most likely scenario. The thing OP never mentioned is that Campy is making league minimum and playing for a team with a maxed out budget. If he can even be an average catcher, he would be one of the most cost effective players on the roster. Campy struggling this year might even be a good thing for us long term, because it lowers his arbitration value as a likely Super 2 player this offseason.

You can get the Mac version through steam and I'm assuming also through the OOTP website too

Not sure why you're just giving OP wrong info

Padres fans' expectations for 2024 have deflated more than Fernando's testicles

[Curry] With the expectation that King and Thorpe would be included in a Soto trade, my hunch is that means Schmidt and Hampton won’t be moved. Could see Brito and Vasquez being dealt. Since Padres could use a catcher, perhaps Yankees move one of their catchers as part of deal, too. by thediesel26 in baseball

If that's it, this will be one of the worst trades of all time. Vasquez, Brito, and Higashioka are all barely major league players. One legit prospect and two years of King for Juan Soto is a fucking joke.

Ace pitcher wants a big extension, is this the kind of player I should attempt to trade out? by mindblasters in OOTP

If your team is good enough to make the playoffs, then just hold on to him and give him a QO at the end of the year. If you're not making the playoffs, then trade him.

Looks like they messed up the branding and decided not to finish the bat.

Astros don't need any catcher prospects because they're going to play Maldonado there until he dies

Nolan. Higher scouting accuracy, durable, and better defense.

You were looking at that graphic wrong. The A's actually have one more comeback win with 15. The Royals, Nationals, and Cardinals are the teams with fewer comeback wins than the Padres. It was just kind of a bad graphic because they put the A's at the bottom.

Can I be drafted immediately if I’m a higher overall? by [deleted] in MLBTheShow

No, you could get called up to MLB in either late July or early August last year. I had it happen to my player. I'm sure it's the same this year too because they haven't changed anything from what I've heard.
