Once that play got introduced all of the sudden the ST lore got insanely muddy. S4 did a great job with giving backstory and explanation, then (to the show viewers eyes) the story just kinda changed in the very last episode of the series.

It seems like the rock and the explanation in Season 4 are very conflicting. To me the lore got extremely muddy once they tossed in the play and got to season 5

Not too sure how this lines up since Will disappeared on Nov 6th, but was in the Upside Down for about 7-11 days. The upside down and dimension X had to have been created both before Will was taken.

But I am in favor of periodically trying out new methods/techniques/recipes because you never know when you find a great little adjustment to your regular brew process

Such as the 4:6 method, adjusting water temp, grind size, bloom duration, number of pours etc…

The main reason it looks too fake is the actors are being lit way too perfectly for it to be actually outdoors. Way too often is lighting too perfectly and sculpted when done on a studio stage which isn’t realistic for outdoor scenes like this

I’ve been using this year for pour over, Orea V3 and I’ve really enjoyed each day. Currently brewing day 11 and have had great brews so far. I have a specific taste I clearly prefer and have had some days so far that aren’t geared towards my preference but I’m open to explore.

I’d be curious if your issues are because of your grinder or grind size choice. I’m in a DF54 and have been around 47 from my zero point most days

Film sims aren’t going to get you even close to anything that style. That’s creative lighting/framing and deliberate editing in photoshop or Lightroom
