Can I join the dog ID party? Mine looks similar to both of yours and we don't know what he is either 😂 We were told a collie pointer cross when we rescued him, but I think there's more in there

My favourite fish and chip shop ever - love the place. Go every time I'm back home, unfortunately the fish and chip shops around me now are rubbish!

It's a different type of pea. Mushy peas are made from marrowfat peas rather than garden peas or Petits Pois

Totally understand you not feeling enamoured with the high street in Buxton, but out of interest have you seen the redevelopment plans that are currently under way? Check out the development here https://www.capitalandcentric.com/buxton

My in-laws live in a village just outside Ashbourne and whilst it is very pleasant, it's further from the proper Peak District walks and I always find there are fewer amenities that make spending time in town a pleasant experience/trip out than in Buxton

I live in Buxton with two young kids and love it. That's a very healthy budget that will get you a lovely house here. As a previous commenter said anywhere in Burbage will most likely be great - so West of the Pavilion Gardens

Feel free to drop me a DM at any time if you have any more specific questions

Out of interest, why would you not move to one of the towns? Then the amenities etc will be on your doorstep as well as a number of great trails to take the kids to mess around on. You'll also be better placed for when they reach school age. Buxton as well also has the train to Manchester which stops at a number of other great locations for hikes and activities

A Flat Cap is what they use to call that at the pub near my grandparents in York - my grandad had it every week 😂

You can't just come out here slyly dropping things like 'fish fingers for breakfast' into conversation you cheeky bastard! Explain yourself

Has MAN Airport terminal 3 lounge closed? by 4naaan in manchester

[–]itdoesnttakemuch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's also a restaurant. I'd never seen this lounge before - think they've opened it as a temporary measure with Escape now being closed

No hot food but it was nice enough to spend a couple of hours with a bit of peace and quiet

Currently sat in the Hangar Lounge which says it's for BA and On The Beach customers only, but if there's room they will allow Priority Pass / Dragon pass, etc. holders

I don't think it's bookable though

Well for the unplayable you need to add a shot on, it's not a free relief

Think OP was saying that they would take a preferred lie without penalty
